Hopefully you’ll get this message very soon. Could you share with me what you think may be what’s causing this? She used to be extremely overweight and then lost it all. Had the fat surgically removed so she has scars on the backside of arms from elbow and shoulder. So could it be scar tissue that’s causing restriction and myofascial? And then add a fall to it you’ve added trauma, perhaps, and guarding.

What you shared was really helpful. I have a client who fell but fell on the palms of her hand. Which she thinks jacked her elbows. As she was on her palms, it was like she was doing a push-up. Ever since she’s had pain in her elbows and throughout her arms. I have a been doing massage and bodywork on her, myofascial, work, stripping, and pin and stretch. But elbows still have been hurting since July of this year. there is some drop in the severity of tenderness, but not straightening up her arms. We have not made any headway and really getting her pain totally eliminated. I’ve worked on your teres major teres, minor.

Just came across your video and signed up for the news letter then I started these three workouts. What I can say is I seriously thought my issue was something else but as I put these workouts to the test I found out real quick I was wrong. Once I noticed the difference in my body after these little workouts I realized how wrong I really was and I was most certainly doing the wrong things. The pain was not getting any better but now I am feeling like something is working. Thank you for the help of finding the root cause this is transformational.Today was my first time using these methods and truly magical how my body feels already. Much better advice then just strap it and rest it.

My 90-year old cousin fell and broke her femur 8 months ago. After surgery to repair the damage she cannot straighten her leg because the hamstring is so tight. After seven months she still cannot stand up. What can be done to relax the hamstring so she can straighten her leg? Thanks, Great video.

The same way your nervous system engages multiple muscles to do something, a single, actually tight muscle can engage other muscles. Which makes it harder to identify and address the root cause of stiffness. I think tight muscles are the root cause of a lot of health problems. People even exercise less and eat more because of muscular stiffness. Why do muscles stay tight? I think it’s actually a survival mechanism. We can actually hang on for dear life LONGER because muscles can stay stiff longer than they available glucose allows. We EXIST because things work this way!

Very well explained. I made a grave error some years ago by moving my computer mouse to a different level than my keyboard which resulted in shoulder and forearm pains and aches. Placing mouse at keyboard level is an improvement but I really need to replace it with a roller mouse to avoid constant shoulder movement.

Best approach is to load painfull muscles gradually. The pain will relieve as muscles get stronger. Alongside you can do soft tissue work, mobilisation, posture etcetera, but don't solely rely on those. The main treatment should be exercise in the right way.

I feel like a fucking moron after watching this. It's always been extremely uncomfortable to sit up straight, but just orienting my pelvis slightly forward makes a world of a difference. I didn't even watch the whole video (and didn't need to), I skipped right to that part and it's all I needed.

This are some great tips. I never heard about activating the pelvis properly, and as soon as I tried I could feel a sense of relief and felt comfortable while sitting for the first time in years.
