Great idea for wiring them on the pump power. I was thinking about having a separate switch or powering off my curtesy lights, but taking feed off the pump was way easier. Bonus my pump has a deutsch connector. I was able to get an adapter and feed the lights off that adapter with deutsch connectors. I added connectors to the lights after they were mounted and wire fed through the livewell, and simply plugged them in. Much cleaner look. Thanks also for the gray vs. red. You would think they would put that on the package!!

Mine went upside down when i cut both. I soldered back white and i was back to the backwards image

If it went upside down, did you try flipping the camera? That might have solved both problems at once by reversing the image as well?

I sprayed both pulleys and rails with silicone spray but it still squeaks bad. Maybe it’s too far gone and i need a new window regulator.

Make sure it’s not the rubber seals. They can dry out too. There are other videos out there on that one.

Thanks for help but in my case the green cable was to switch camera side and the white cable was to get the lines.

Yeah how do you reverse the image if your camera doesn't have any loops on the power and video input joint.

I'm annoyed AF right now. I have what looks to be same camera as you. The instructions say to cut wire if facing forward, leave the wire if facing backwards. That's not correct. I did a nice tape and shield job on the harness so now I have to un-do it all to cut his wire lol

Man I’m sorry to hear that! My camera came with absolutely NO instructions. I had to scour the internet before I found a small post in a forum that made me try it. I videotaped it in case other people could use the help. I was fortunate that it worked. On the bright side….it’s not a high buck camera if you need to try again! :-/

This was the fix for me. I sprayed the pulleys with silicone spray and used white lithium grease on the outside of the tracks.

I just followed your instructions and it worked great. Hit those pulleys at the bottom of the track with silicon!

Hey people, For the one looking to fix the Rear ones: -The pulleys are located on the very TOP of the rail, once you remove the door panel. -The difference pulling the door panels is that you dont remove the speakers cover/mech, and you pull out the trim beside window before you remove the panel (screw bellow trim)

What would you have done if you're backup camera is getting power but when you put it in reverse there is no image? This is my problem which I was hoping you would have addressed. 😀😀

I wired mine to the reverse light so it only gets power when I reverse.

It is not black and white, but the color is poor. I don’t think that it is the fault of the pioneer, but of the $25 camera!

This is the best guide. 1) CUT GREEN WIRE = REVERSE IMAGE 2) CUT WHITE WIRE = SHOW THE REVERSE GREEN/EMBER/RED GUIDELINES

I have the same problem...after watching your video, i checked my camera..it had only green loop, which i cut. but problem remains....any suggestions

Did the green loop add lines? Perhaps there is a setting in your head unit if you go through the camera menu? Beyond that I don’t know.

@@sirbucketmouth8386 thanks for response and time. a new development which i want to share. i was trying to remove the camera and as a last resort turned the camera upside down. the sides flipped on the screen and worked as it should..no instructions came with the camera but my guess is this option is there for front and rear mounting. thanks again

So even if I get a new camera it's not gonna fix it. I pretty much need to do something like this to fix it huh. I'm having the same problem. But I bought a rear view mirror video Cam front and rear. And that's what's going on with my backup camera. Grrr. But they refunded me my money and I get to keep the unit. So I would like to try to fix it
