Stop yuck

I think most people hate living somewhere when it's very different from what they're used to and they're essentially forced to be there. Not everyone dreams of living on an island, much less of being required to be there for 9-10 months out of each year, year after year. Likewise, a few years in, it's normal to have gotten used to it and, especially for somewhere like Hawaii, to have grown to like it.

I haven't seen that interview but did read about it. Maybe it was taken out of context IDK but I think for Scott it was a matter of he was home sick ( which is understandable) he had family and friends back in LA and he wanted to do other things. Those feelings can make a person dislike a place. I don't think he meant it in a horrible way but I understand people getting upset over it as well. We all love our homes and when others say they hate it we don't understand why and we get defensive about it. If Scott absolutely hated hawaii he would have left the show along time ago. He probably should've worded his words differently maybe say I miss LA and my family and friends. On the other side Alex found his home in Hawaii bc the culture the beach the lifestyle reminds him of Australia. He even said he gets abit teary bc some of the islands feel like Australia so he got the best of both worlds. He actually didn't like LA and won't live there again. We all have our places and we just need to keep in mind that our homes are not for everyone as hard as that is to understand.

I listened to this with closed eyes.....its nice but not the original by far....the original dug much deeper.
