@@Nonexistanthuman Sort of! From what I understand Connan plays a regular stratocaster, just with the horns/edges sawn off. I ran into this Vox at a local guitar shop and bought it cause I always wanted to have a "teardrop" like guitar. This just so happened around the time I was getting back into Connan's music again, so it all just kind of clicked haha

Backstage at Lollapalooza 1995 right before they went out to play , they came into The Jesus Lizard green room to hang out for a bit. Thurston walked up to me with this little toy guitar that someone gave them for their daughter Coco and he said, "Dude, check it out, it changes pitch and you can do so much neat stuff with it." I froze as they're the ultimate art rock Gods and said, "Cool".

That's super cool and sounds totally on brand hahaha. I had a similar moment not too long ago when I ran into Neil Halstead from Slowdive after a show and the only words that came of my mouth were "Yeah I like your music" even though I probably had so many questions I would've loved to ask hahaha. Just totally froze as well, cool dude though!
