The gear selector is not matching the position sensor. Which is probably putting the machine into limp mode. Pull the codes & readjust the shift lever. Clear the old codes.

Don’t know much about these quads but I would see if you can pull the codes. Limp mode on the ECU. that would cut spark and timing I would assume. Looking forward to what you figure out and seeing this bike rip.

and you can pull the ends off of the coil wire, and replace it, make it shorter and then put the old ends on the new wire.

Needs a fuel pump. when you hit the key/kill switch sometimes you hear the fuel pump, sometimes you dont Super easy fix Needs a one way bearing on primary clutch SHifting linkage is way out of adjustment First, put a good battery in it. Next replace the fuel pump Then go from there. Fuel pressure needs to be 51 PSI or higher
@TheragecheaterlolzАй бұрын
any less fuel pressure the bike will NOT run right. You can put a gauge in it and check it fairly cheap and easy. Super good tool to have.
@FixitjonАй бұрын
@@Theragecheaterlolz thanks man definitely gonna look into the fuel pressure I was just curious it seems to be back firing through the throttle body
@TheragecheaterlolzАй бұрын
all gucci. Back firing through the throttle body can lead to multiple things, You definatley need to get that plug wire fixed, change the spark plugs, and replace the fuel pump or check the fuel pressure. If its still doing it, THen you can check on the timing.
@TheragecheaterlolzАй бұрын
Im pretty sure that voltage at idle needs to be 14.1 if i remember correctly. Def make that fuel pressure tool, when your done with it, just get you a nipple and put the line back together, Youll be able to use it on several other projects later on as well. I used to flip fourwheelers and have had/rebuilt several upon several of these can ams. lol.

I’ve got a very used one of those, I think just over 3,000 hours. Good mower, parts are pretty expensive for it and can be hard to find depending on what breaks. Mower decks tend to crack in the middle around the gearbox (stamped deck) . Haven’t started the one I have for probably 15 years since I got a Scag, zero turn is more efficient for what I cut but if you were cutting a large fairly open area that mower is great.
