Man! Thank you! I just messaged the guy in the video. Hopefully he follows up. I knew Shad made side cases but when I looked they didn’t seem to have mounting systems that would specifically work for the Spyder F3S.

While in the garage, sit on the bike for 5 min. Will seem like a long time but do it anyway. While you’re sitting on it, kickstand up, one foot on the ground, one on the floor board. Swap feet every 10 seconds or so. Shift the weight of the bike back and forth every now and again and regain balance. Start swapping your feet slower which will make you find the balance sweet spot and what that feels like. When your right foot is on the floorboard place your foot on the break and balance that way. Do this a few times a day you will be AMAZED how much more comfortable you will be on the bike and confidence when stopping at lights, intersections etc., with this heavy bike. You will thank me later.

Robert Simmons has a lot of good information. After not riding for 10+ years, his videos put me back on track and taught me a lot. Practice every chance you get to build muscle memory. I'll be following your journey

Nice bike man! I started out on a Cam Am Spyder myself, went to a street glide. Now rocking the new Road Glide. If you haven't already take the Harley motorcycle course. It definitely helps with the confidence. Ride safe man!
@Haylord3 ай бұрын
I didn’t take Harley’s course but I did take a MSF course prior to getting my license. It’s totally different. Those little bike were like go-carts 😅
@dwismwurks3 ай бұрын
Make sure you watch Robert on his KZbin channel. He gives excellent tips for new riders. Practice Practice Practice. Low speed maneuvers will be key. When the bike is at speed above 10mph, it is going to naturally stand. Low speeds is when you really have to take control. Like with most things, the more you practice, the more the nervousness dissipates.

Hey bro, just to let you know I was the same I always loved big touring bikes and I learned on a big bike. I started my bike life on a used 2002 Electra Glide, now I own a 2022 Road Glide. I was like you I got what I wanted and never looked back. Practice those slow manuvers, and emeregy braking and you will get use to the weight fairly quick.
@Haylord3 ай бұрын
That’s refreshing to hear. I know it’s a steep learning curve but I’ll get it!
@bam55sgarage773 ай бұрын
@@Haylord Yes you will, its just new and with anything new theres a learning curve. Just practice bro and be safe. Also don't trip if you drop your bike, thats what the engine and saddlebag guards are for. We've all drop them learning slow speed manuvering. At slow speeds you will not damage anything.

Congratulations Brother 💪🏾 Welcome to the 2 wheel family! Awesome bike… I support your decision to get the bike you wanted and learn the bike. A lot of people will comment against it but everyone learns differently. Some people need to start on smaller bikes as they have no experience but your 3 wheel experience helps a lot when transitioning over to 2 wheels. It’s the same route I took, I started on 3 wheels as well. Practice, practice, practice is the key to success. You’ll be just fine!!! Be safe out there… and I look forward to seeing your journey in your upcoming videos! 💯🙏🏾
