Hello bro, could you try this solo again after the moves changes that happened 3 days before? I think niantic nerfed a lot of mons like Groudon to make raids harder

Yeah, making raids harder just for the sake of making them harder checks out for Niantic. If it's not sunny or rainy tomorrow (Sunday) and I find the move set I need, then I will absolutely give this another shot. If I'm successful, I'll upload that version, too.

Shadow Entei solo is not possible anymore, but not because of the move update. It's because solo subdue glitch was patched

@@M4rleyZ You can't subdue the boss on your own anymore. Which means the solo won't happen again

pretty cool raid man, you think any pokemon besides mega rayquaza could solo?
@pogo_raid_challenges
@pogo_raid_challenges 15 күн бұрын
@@calvinzhou4202 Thank you! Unfortunately, Mega Rayquaza is the only one capable of soloing Zamazenta - nothing else even comes close. And the solo is only possible right now thanks to a glitch that applies an extra damage bonus to any Pokémon that has ever been mega-evolved. Without that glitched bonus, even Mega Rayquaza would be too slow to pull off this solo normally.

@@DracoProto Yes! It's also a lot faster than letting your guy faint and have the game bring you back to the lobby. Hence why I have Lugia in the second slot. The song is called "Mysterious Being" (or "Illusions" - I've seen both), and it's from the Sword and Shield OST. I used an extended, hour-long version of it. I added a link in the description to the extended version.

huge gg on the solo. though this crushes my hopes on ever pulling off this solo since my zard y is lvl 40 and my fire types are not good enough besides zard y and maybe chandelure but chandy isn't good vs abomasnow

Curious, why do you use shadow Dragonites? Some benefit to not purifying them?
@pogo_raid_challenges

Back in February or March, there was a buff to Shadow Pokemon, giving them a 20% increase to their offence while decreasing their defense by around 17%. What this did was shoot their DPS way up, but keep their TDO around the same as their normal counterparts. So in Dragonite's case, he has the same damage output as a regular Dragonite, but he does it in a shorter timeframe thanks to the DPS increase - even faster than the Rayquazas and Palkias we used. The downside is that he takes more damage, so he dies faster than a regular Dragonite would, and costs 20% more to power up. But I love dragons, so it was worth the stardust and candies to me. My friend's isn't maxed out, but is still faster than a regular Dragonite would be. For context, when you're doing a duo, you want your guys to have a time to win of under 600 seconds - 300 seconds times two people. The smaller the number and the further away from 600 it is, the easier the duo, and the better your chances are of finishing the raid in the 300 second time limit. Not sure of the math behind it, though. I use Pokebattler to find out if I can do stuff like this. So, for this duo, my regular maxed out Dragonite takes 635 seconds to win the raid. Since we required a time to win of under 600 seconds, regular Dragonite wasn't going to cut it. He's just too slow. In comes my Shadow Dragonite, who is also maxed - his time to win is 533 seconds thanks to the damage boost and speedier damage output. Way faster than my regular one, and 56 seconds faster than my Rayquazas and Palkias, who were at 592 and 589 respectively and already very borderline for this. For what we wanted to do, this extra speed was crucial, as every second counted in this duo. The best friend boost helped, too, as it gave us a 10% increase to our attack. This is a really good article to read: gamepress.gg/pokemongo/shadow-pokemon-and-their-place-pokemon-go Hope that helps! If something isn't clear then let me know; I'm not the best at explaining, haha.
