We've had one a few years now but soon as you hit a hidden screw or metal, the blade is knackered and a new blade is £120 plus. Gone back to using the cheap and cheerfull Roberts. New blades are £20.

Ooo damn... I didn't even consider the blade price, the tool is way out of my price range just to cut some door jambs... Can't believe they sold any of these for that reason alone. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a well built tool, but how do they justify 3x to 4x the price of comps... Even at 600, I would probably pass, let alone 12

I live in a 1930s craftsman house with old wood flooring and it looks awful no matter what we do to it so I wanted to know how to put down carpet
@uzinutzuk

Thanks for watching. This system would only be suitable if the old wood floor is flat and structurally sound otherwise any deformation from the wood will show through to the final floor finish. We would recommend a visit from a reputable flooring contractor who should be able to advise the best course of action. Thanks

Funny how I’ve been using this same mixture that I made independently for various purposes and now someone using it labeled as grout, wish things was more easier to put out there, have other creations too. Need sponsor

With codex X-Fusion the components can be mixed in any order so you can use your tried and tested method.

Amazon. Look for grout buckets. They have better ones with wheels.

Don't do it DIYers. It's not that easy. It is easy, but he knows what he's doing. For starters, I wouldn't be mixing the entire batch in one hit. You'll mess it up, You'll be slow and the product will go off. It's messy, It's not easy to get off if you leave some on the surface. If you're grout lines aren't nice, it's not easy to fix. You'll have a lot of sponges, scourers and so on that you will need because they fill up with epoxy.....the list goes on, and on.....

finally someone who seems to have some experience with epoxy grout... I dont believe his sponge ever became that clean after the first swipe unless some kind of acid chemical was added to the mix

I would do standard diagonal final wipe on mosaics then a dry rag once dry if needed.
@fardellp

That was very poorly applied - the grout should be forced hard into each gap and each tile inspected for grout voids as you proceed. A quick "wipe over" with the grout applicator as shown will result in voids, unpacked gaps and thin surface layers - all resulting in (early) failure and water ingress in a shower application like the one shown...

Never lay your epoxy grout tools covered in grout on the floor - for obvious reasons!
