It was a very nice little 1hour cruise telling you the history of Mark Twain and lovers leap very recommended. Downtown Hannibal is just a very nice historical town with a lot of interesting stories

I spent my summers in Arrow Rock with my grandparents. Johnny and Helen McDaniel- niece of “Uncle Fletcher.” I remember seeing the movie and knowing that it was filmed in AR, however I was not born yet while the filming took place. AR is part of my heritage and I’m proud of my roots. It’s lovely to see these pictures and I hope soon I’ll be able to visit.

After they get all of them corraled into a tow . The next step is organization of the barges where they are to go and which gets dropped off first. It will be a large job but our experenced river crews know all about how to do the job.

Sam Wood, Rodney's brother, was also a wonderful businessman in St Louis . He passed a few years later of a brain tumor. Such tragedy for one family. 🙏

Is this the old Mark Twain Theater on Broadway. Went there in 1963 with my new husband who grew up in Hannibal.

Rodney Wood was our nephew. He stopped to give aid to a young lady being attached by 2 men. They beat him to death with a tire iron. They had only been out of prison one week on parole. Rodney was a well thought of businessman in Hannibal. The city closed offices and the street was lined with people all the way to the cemetery. Rodney had a son on High school wrestling team and a son on wrestling team at University in Columbia . The entire wrestling team came to funeral. Visitation was extended 3 hrs as people lined up down street for 6 blocks waiting to get in. He was a good young man, a great son , husband , father and Christian. See you on the other side Rodney. Uncle Don and Aunt Nancy ⚘💞🕊⚘
