WRONG! The question was: How many animals were going TOWARDS the river. Check the video at 1:00 and look at the riddle yourself ! The answer cannot be one as we are clearly told that the two monkeys are going TOWARDS the river. So, the answer has to be at least 2.

🤓erm, actually, the question is asking how many animals are going towards the river, which is not the same as to the river, so the answer is 4 bc of the two monkeys and two parrots 🤓

Going toward IS the same as going to. It's semantics. The reason riddles like this are silly is because it's possible to be walking faster than someone and thus pass them.

Actually you cannot include the 2 parrots as they are not animals - they are birds. The answer is 2.

@@Mushrooms683 Not necessarily. One may be going towards the river but may stop 1 mile before they reach the river or they may turn in a different direction before reaching the river. The answer is 3 because 3 animals are going towards the river. The rabbit going TO the river is also going towards the river. The moneys are going towards the river. The parrots don't count because they are birds - not animals.
