Listen, I'm asexual myself, but in the end these are fictional characters and we're making guesses. Brain might be gay or ace or bi but unless we hear canon confirmation, it's all guessing. It's sad that people forget asexuality being a thing but it doesn't make them aphobic.

They are like those high school blokes with this black-and-white mentality who just assume every boy must be either a sex-addicted heterosexual or a closet homosexual; disregarding any other factors that can disprove both. 2. One of those alphabetical rights activists who try to self-insert their presumptions as 'facts' that characters are homosexual just to make a power-play to push their own narrative, without properly analyzing the entire source material (just nitpicking parts at best, disregarding all else). I suspect this video falls into Case 2. The evidence that Brain "could be gay" is refuted because he has already dated and kissed women in the series. Gays don't kiss women out of desire. The only possibilities of Brain is that he is either ace (most likely, consider there is evidence that so far, he is not a sexual animal; no signs of horniness or "Johnny Bravo"- type moments whenever he sees any attractive women), or he could (less likely) be a closet bisexual. ____________ Far as cannon is concerned, I am not sure I can even trust the 'cannon' anymore if its coming from the studios that control the IP, or any corrupted animators behind the show. They have been more interested in retconning in the name of virtue signaling than preserving the pre-existing character development. Nickelodeon lied about Spongebob being 'gay' when it was already confirmed he was ace by the late creator of the series Stephen Hillenburg; they did this against his own wishes and I believe dying wish - altering his creation for their own commercial exploitation beyond what was agreed upon. Similar treatment happened with Velma (even before that supposedly Woke abomination that was the HBO reboot, of which even the Woke hated), only instead, the designer of the original Velma Dinkley decided to retract what she said decades ago that she was an asexual (heteroromantic, and fell in love for Shaggy), and retconned her as a lesbian this decade just to try to score some virtuous prestige points. It was also the same reason she created that arab woman with white hair to be her new love interest. _____ If these were all done on reboots or original shows, that would be one thing. Would sour relations with fans on the reboots but at least the original material would not be perverted. Original shows would hardly (if at all) be a problem in this case, just as long as the content and overall value of the show is actually good and worth watching. So that said, I heard Pinky & Brain has been rebooted now. Now doubt, WB may likely turn both protagonists gay now for social points; in that case, fine, whatever, so long as the show does not become trash. I just disagree that in the original show Brain was ever gay. I do suspect Pinky was gay or bi in the original show.

Dude they're fictional characters. If you don't ship them, that's fine. And have you watched this show filled with adult jokes? Those are fine but gay characters are sick? We have a freaking curvy furry lady in this cartoon, it was never explicitly just children's entertainment.

I’m late but i don’t care. You might be surprised to see how many romantic hints between them they were in the original series, the comics and the reboot (especially the reboot’s season 3 considering that most interactions were meant to be romantic). Also you using the "People think everything is gay nowadays" insult is honestly ridiculous. Edit: Someone liked my comment and i went back to what i commented 2 months ago and i must say that i am not sorry and i still stay true to what i said back then.
