Coopers has got an outstanding record so far since playing. The team has only lost one game since he started. One game. That’s currently 12-1. Now that’s showing Upgrade. Remember he’s a true rookie who started the season late because of a preseason injury. Now he’s a Beast. Paired with Quantanamo Bay. It’s the Best Draft I’ve ever seen in my 71 years. It’s the Miracle Mets of Football.

As a diehard Eagles fan, especially when it comes to defense, Ringo is not worth mentioning; even though he is. He’s a good special teams gunner, but Cooper Dejean is a vastly superior nickel corner and has been since his first NFL snap. Kelee is never getting that position back. Ringo is right where he belongs, punt/kickoff coverage. Trust me no Eagles fan wants to see Ringo out there because that means there are injuries in the secondary.

Ringos skillset is a pure outside corner. When slay hangs them up he'll be outside with q and dejawn in the slot

@ Bro, he had a 50% snap share last year when healthy and played only one snap at slot. He was an outside CB already and gave up a 118.3 passer rating. This year, thank god, he’s only had an 8% snap share because he’s giving up a 158.3 passer rating, which is perfect, literally can’t get (or give in his case) a higher passer rating than 158.3. Been targeted 6 times, given up 4 receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown. He’s a special teamer, and a good one! Keep him there and maybe give him snaps here and there but offensive coordinators will target him because they know the same stats I listed. I don’t know why people think he’s a hidden talent… because he’s got cool hair? I swear I think that’s enough for some people to think a guy can play. Dejean and Quintonimo Bay have shown what a real corner looks like. Both have been studs from the moment their cleats touched an NFL field. Especially Dejean who has played basically every snap since week 6 and still hasn’t given up a touchdown…. Kelee has given up more than him on 6 targets, dawg. Again, if Ringo is on the field at CB, it’s not a good sign for us.

@@Djrossi13 he's really a height weight speed guy just for cb instead of wr. He was never supposed to be a cb1 or even cb2. He should be used in Isaiah Rodgers role as a relief/rotation outside corner to keep our starters healthy. I still think he has upside since he was only 20/21 when we drafted him

Come on man. He’s not elite. Jordan Davis is a guy who is good (not elite) only at what he does well (taking on double teams to keep LBs clean and being stout vs the run). But he is nowhere close to even being good at anything else (e.g. providing consistent pressure on passing downs).. let alone elite.

I feel like this is not real and I'm going to wake up and the Eagles defense is going to be the same as last year trush. I was so wrong about most of the guys it was no doubt that Jalen Carter was going to be great. But Nolan Smith, Jordan Davis, and Dean I was so wrong about there all playing lights out football. And we win the draft bye getting Q, and copper the next year and these guys are the defensive makers wow there young and both of them are going to be Defense rookies of the year candidates. Q is probably the all pro. And most of the guys should be in the pro bowl. I'm loving it and we can beat anybody. This is going to be great for years to come

I'm not sure how you can talk about their historic defense without even mentioning Quinyonamo Bay and Cooper DeJawn. Kelee Ringo doesn't even get defensive snaps. Additionally, they have Isaiah Rodgers, every time Big Play Slay goes down. Rodgers was a great player before he got caught gambling and the Colts released him when he got a 1 year suspension. Guess who picked him up, immediately? That's right, Howie Roseman. Sat him for a year without blinking.

The eagles rarely start rookies in their first season. If you look at past rookie of the years only 3 eagles won any awards as rookies and the last was in 1988.
