well said April... most the time the young athletes just need a pat on the back from the coach and told that its not that bad, coz we all have bad days at rowing, it helps us appreciate the good ones.

Awesome interview - what an interesting nugget of timing your Olympic peak leading up to the games. You are sacrificing psychological wins of doing well at WCs leading up to ideally peak physio at the games themselves.

Unfortunately we don't have massive budgets for video but we see the value in offering video content when it comes to stories about our people and therefore we have to make do with the tools we have. In saying this though, we value your feedback and will look for cost effective ways to improve audio in our video content going forward.

Love this guy..what a competitor!!! ..why hasn't there been a US single to rival other countries at this level ? I'm talking Olympic GOLD..or a Henley Win.
@ollie72863 жыл бұрын
The US is kinda shit at rowing (unlike 'football', baseball or basketball, other countries do rowing, and so Americans can't claim a national title as a world title).
@lilylively15813 жыл бұрын
@@ollie7286however the US ladies have made some headway...Gevie Stone has made the US super proud.
@andyslaybids Жыл бұрын
Mike Teti pulled Jamie Koven away from the single in the 90s. All the biggest guys are ushered into the 8/4 with no real support for the 4x/2x/1x. 1x has been whoever didn't make the 8. Team is spread out across US.

@3:00 Am I right in saying that NZL dont row like this anymore? They seem to favour a stroke with a pronounced pause at the finish.This crew moves fluently through that checkpoint. If I'm correct, what motivated the switch in styles?
