@@benrettax I was overfarming the basic way without buffs in my 1st playthrough...by NG+ I was maxed out for Health,Mana,Stamina. By NG++ I maxed out on all. But yeah I did figure out the buffs too but it was too late for me

I didnt even know that was there during the boss fight, but something i would recommend is for you to use ice against him its his weakness, maybe like freeze grease or whatever its called to pur on your sword.

There is actually better weapon for longer jump I just found. Backhand Blade and Swift Slash ash of war, this will give you a long distance jump
