E and F can no longer be used as tag numbers because the graphics interfere with the plate number so badly. #TotalFail. And why on EARTH would it occur to someone to reduce the size of the state name??? Could we please just go back to the absolutely perfect 1986-2010 plate? I knew Jeff Peterson in the late 80s and early 90s when we were both pinsetter mechanics. I also knew his wife, Patty. Tragically, he passed in 2021 at the young age of 54. He was a hard worker and a devoted family man.

I hate these "Maryland Proud" license plates... have to make extra efforts to correct errors caused by those freaking black squares in auto license plate recognition applications.

The new plates are the most beautiful ever. I am considering getting them for my next car.

I really like them, too. So much so that I'm thinking about trading in my U.S. Air Force veteran plates for these, which are quite nice in their own right.

I like the new Maryland plates. I did not know they were made in Jessup. Learn something new everyday.

Hats off to DoC (Maryland Division of Corrections -- prisons) for woring w/Canine Partners for Life. This is from Jessup but Roxbury also has a shelter and service dog-training program. Some of the local jails may be candidates for this type of program, as the offenders in the locals are non-violent (DWI, drugs, petty-theft, etc).
