My beautiful home town, this brought back so many wonderful memories for me. As a 13 year old I used to deliver papers to most of the Colleges. My family home was in Portugal Street. How I wish I could move back there.Thankyou so much for this ❤

A lot of Carlisle people have a very insular small town attitude i like to call it a seige mentally due to the city being bounded on almost 3 sides by the M6 which you only cross to go shopping in Newcastle. I say this as someone who grew up in Penrith and has family in Carlisle. Oh and we Penrithians are considered posh by Carlisle folk. I now live in Yorkshire BTW

The route sems inadequately signposted. I think going through the shopping centre is more confusing than not using the escalator and getting straight on to Buckingham Palace Road. Though it is covered and maybe better if youre dragging a suitcase with you. Nice to know of an alternative route than by the street. Thanks for the upload
