Could be to tame that fierce recoil😂or could be to lengthen the pull to aid in faster presentation for competition use.

We are actually planning to watch The Wild Bunch tonight. Looks like fun! When was the M1 Carbine allowed in Cowboy Action shooting? Or is it just y’all having fun?

When unloading my 1911 to make it safe, I typically turn it upside down at and angle with my support hand under the eject port and catch the extracted round rather than ejecting it to the ground or on a table, place it next to the ejected magazine then lock my slide back to show safe. (i don’t know if competitions allow this or not. But it’s what I do on my firing line or at home)

Is this a full auto KP-31 or a semi-auto version? The original fired from an open bolt but this appears to operate from a closed bolt.

I noticed that you have a muzzle brake on your Homesteader. For anybody watching this, I highly recommend a muzzle brake. I have the one made by Hughes Precision and sold by Henry on their website and it really does shrink group size by a noticeable amount. I wasn't expecting that, but it was the best $59.95 I've spent for my Homesteader.

Aren't most Thompsons an open bolt system where the bolt goes forward and fire round(s) when you pull the trigger?
@redtra2368 ай бұрын
@wyomarine6341 I've seen semi only ones that were still open bolt though so was just wondering. I do know that the M1921, M1928, and M1928A1 are about the same but the M1927 is an extremely rare semi only version. And the M1 and M1A1 have substantially different parts internally that won't interchange with the older models or even each other. I'm guessing this is some sort of reproduction?

I run a 1911 daily, I had a weird one the other day, my extractor failed twice and I went to show clear with a round in the chamber still. Tuned my extractor and haven’t got the same result, but my take away is “this is why we are so diligent about showing clear”. It can happen when you least expect it.
