How did you save your designs?
@coloradoleen
@coloradoleen 6 күн бұрын
They are automatically saved in Canva. However after I added them to my Word document, I also saved that page as well making sure to name the front and back pages accordingly so I will know to print them together.

Important Safety Reminder!! As @stina48 pointed out, I should have been using a different ruler with the rotary cutter. The smaller ruler I used was very unsafe. So if you decide to use a rotary trimmer like I did, please make sure you are taking safety precautions and using the correct ruler with it. Let's be safe!
@stina48
@stina48 17 күн бұрын
If you were going to cut with a rotary cutter, it would be much safer if you would get a quilt ruler that is meant to be used with a rotary cutter.
@coloradoleen
@coloradoleen 17 күн бұрын
You are right about that! I have one, but it is an 18" ruler. I am going to get a smaller one to use on these types of smaller projects though. I also did switch to a 12 inch metal ruler to cut the rest of the wristlets so my fingers were a little farther away from the blade! That being said, Thank you for the safety reminder!

I highly recommend a mini strap wrench to get caps and lids off glue bottles. Then clean off the threads and put a little bit of Vaseline on the threads before recapping. Keeps them from getting stuck on by the glue.😊

Hello, Leen. What lovely cards and helpful tips! Love the CAS focus. Thank you for respecting your viewers' time by prepping dies and/or embossed sheets ahead so valuable time can be spent playing with designs. Also your "think alouds" clarify your decision-making, giving us understanding as to why you think certain cuts or layouts work and don't work. You inspire me to see how many of the dies and embossing folders in my stash can work nicely with these ideas. Nice tutorial. Good luck in growing your channel. 🎉 Looking forward to seeing more from you. Your newest subbie, Cheryl in AZ
