This is a film I was forced to watch in high school. Ago wants to watch an old black and white movie in school? However, the older I get, the more I understand that we each already have a “ticket.” And each ticket has a black dot on it. The older you grow, the more society sees your dot.

To anyone watching this: "Chapter 4" is not about the doubloon, except in a ten-chapter retelling that this guy found somewheres. Please do NOT learn facts about Moby-Dick from this video! Chapter 4 is The Counterpane.

Vonnegut wrote the short story satirising conservatives and their paranoia around equality and looming "communism", knowing full well that they'd misinterpret it (because they're idiots) as a critique of egalitarianism and the left -- and he'd get to sell his work to a wider audience. This film further adds to that irony by running with the misinterpretation and telling a story as if the conservative thesis were true, making the original villain the hero. It's stil a fun watch, mainly because of all you dolts in the comments thinking it's "reality".

Stone cold robots, it started long ago. Be a rebel, and they'll cast you as the devil . 👊 F.them. I get it everyone's afraid to show their intelligence and if it does shine they slap disabilities on them that they don't truly own so they won't ever fit. The person bearing it will feel like an aimlesss wanderer, with no hope and a deep inner knowing there's something missing, themselves , who they truly are and who they were born to be. Victorians made sure we knew our place. Hmmm, revolution starts on the inside. Flip the coin on the other side for theres always two opposie images of the same old coin. A coin thats spinnig has no sides, it becomes a whole . The whole point is dont tell the leftside what the rightsides doing. Hmmm I get it. Handicapping people, cutting out their tongues , destabalizing them.

Hi Sir , I did not understand how the man died at the end of the events and who killed him? Explain it to me, please. Tomorrow I have an exam on it.
@StudywithDrF7 ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you for the question. The story is a bit tricky. First, the story is narrated in past tense - meaning it has already happened. Second, all of the characters in the story are wolves. Third, we learn that the husband of the wife (who is telling the story) has an affliction that makes him turn into a human being - sort of like the opposite version of a werewolf. At the end of the story, he turns into a human being. The other characters - who are wolves - chase him (he is still a human being). Eventually, the wolves catch him. A fight takes place, and the sister of the wife (who is telling a story) kills him putting her "teeth . . . in its throat". He likely is killed directly by her biting his throat.

University professors keep reprimanding students for using words with the prefix-man, like manhole cover, man hours and forcing them change them to " person cover", "person hours" which is so ridiculous and scary, as everyone knows that the prefix-man means man as a human race, not a male!!! This has actually happened to my son when he was studying digital systems engineering!!! How on earth these lecturers even passed their GCSEs? And now it's politically incorrect to say I'm a woMAN!!!! Only a woman can give birth, can get us in so much trouble! It looks like the lowest IQ people get the most attention from the government and the rest of people, who're the majority have been treated as minority.

GREAT upload , excellent choice for this year's insanity.............. thanks for this it is SO strange to live long enough to see something we read 50 years ago as humorous , predicts so accurately the future is now. .......Kurt V. didn't predict the language modification replacing quality with "equity" , but the writers of this film got pretty close............. pause to think if by dumbing us , down the rulers actually improved the war , oppression and violence , their goal in this movie.... seems no cure for that give me Beethoven any day over the numb and mindless future we seem headed for

Yes, it's all happening slowly!! If one puts a frog in boiling water, it will jump out but if one turns the heat slowly, the poor frog will cook. Don't be that frog, speak up before it's too late. Only women can give birth is the statement on my T-shirt.
