Interesting that while they look extremely similar, they are actually not related to each other. Cello, alongside its siblings, have relations to lute. That is why we call a person who makes and repairs bowed instruments a luthier.

Very nice playing! Do you use sometimes a less regular trill, done with fingers not with the whole hand, slower then accelerating, not like a regular tremolo sound.

I have a question. Do you plan on playing more Bach on the viola da gamba? I think the sarabande from the c minor suite (BWV 1011) would sound wonderful.
