hi i know this was a long time ago, but can these be made with splenda? im a diabetic so i can use besan but not sugar.please reply
@CooknCreateHealth10 күн бұрын
Hi Noreen, I haven't personally baked with sugar substitutes but I guess it should work. Though feel and texture of biscuit might change as it is with any substitute from original recipe. I would suggest try a small batch first (maybe half the quantities of ingredients) and if you are happy with result then bake more. Let me know how you go when you try.

😂 I have quite a lot of green tomatoes and some beautiful purple rainbow colored ones. A friend told me her family loves her recipe for Green Tomato relish, but my husband and I don't eat sugar. The figs have a lot of fructose in them, but I might try your recipe anyway. It sounds interesting. I'm going to look at your other recipes. We are eating a dirty Keto diet, and both my husband and I have lost a lot of weight, and it's totally transformed our health.😊 Thanks for this recipe. I'll let you know how it goes.

Great to hear about your transformation! Do try and let me know how you liked relish. You can look at adding fresh figs if available to fit more with your keto diet. Stay connected for more interesting healthy recipes.

if the vegetable is ripe, should we discard the outer cover or peel. because i saw another youtube video, where the lady threw away the peel. also when its ripe, the seeds will be bigger. if we throw seed and outer peel, there is nothing in the vegetable to eat. i assumed its parwal or dosakai and bought it. it turned out to be a punjabi vegetable.
@CooknCreateHealthАй бұрын
You can peel skin if using ripe chibber and skin is hard. No need to discard seeds though. Seeds will easily soften with cooking. Yes chibber is different from parwal or dosakai, mostly growing wild in dry areas of Punjab/Rajasthan and sometimes available in market to buy.

Glad you tried date sugar and liked it. But I'm still not sure about your question. Date sugar has only two ingredients, dates and cornflour. There is no black pepper and ginger anywhere in date sugar recipe. Is your question related to any other recipe?

What you have used is dates (khajur) and not chhuaara (छुआरा) , राइट?
@CooknCreateHealth6 ай бұрын
Yes I used partially dried dates (still called Khajur). Chhuhaara can also be used. However being very dry and hard it will be difficult to deseed and chop these. But quicker to crisp dry though.

Looks tasty but how i can make it with out honey
@CooknCreateHealth6 ай бұрын
You can add equal amount of maple syrup or replace with brown sugar. If using brown sugar, you may need to add little extra.....2/3 cup instead of 1/2 cup. Also you may need some extra liquid to compensate for liquid in honey. Add 1-2 tbsp milk, if needed, to get dough into right consistency.

Thanks for the post . Can the sugar be stored in the freezer . Or would it go to paste ?? Cheers Pat nz

A doctor mentioned me to take Barley and Chana Sattu 1 Glass. How to make it make it madam? Whether it is a juice or combination of both Barley and Chana flours?
@CooknCreateHealth8 ай бұрын
Sattu is flour made from either roasted Barley or Chana. You can prepare sattu powder at home as shown in video or buy pre-made and then make into sattu drink to consume, again as shown in video.

Yes, definitely you can. Baking powder ensures a lighter texture so without it biscuits may be a little denser. But this won't affect the taste.

@@snehagadge1922 Ragi, depending on the quality of seeds, sometimes is difficult to sprout. It can take longer and may not sprout at all if seeds are old. You can steam if you prefer whole ragi in your cutlets or just do a quick run in mixi without adding any water or just very minimum water. Hope this works for you. Good luck👍

The advantage is that soaking the lentils is not required
@CooknCreateHealth Жыл бұрын
Yes! And that makes it super easy and quick recipe.
@Lynnefromlyn Жыл бұрын
But you should ALWAYS rinse them several times before using, so they will be wet anyway.
@CooknCreateHealth Жыл бұрын
You are right and if you look carefully ingredients list does mention that lentils are washed and dried. It doesn't need to be completely dry as lentils will be roasted before grinding. Just getting rid of excess moisture by rubbing between kitchen towel will be enough before using in the recipe.

hi just wondering why you are not sealing the jars hot to make a sealed vacuum for hygiene and keeping out bacteria
@CooknCreateHealth Жыл бұрын
Hi, yes you can seal jars while it is still hot and this is common practice. I have, however, always let the contents come to room temperature before closing lids and never had any issue. Guess high vinegar and sugar act as preservatives in chutneys/sauces and I make sure there is no contamination around while jars/bottles are cooling.
@prasanasrinivasan7504 Жыл бұрын
Hi, these look much easier. Can I use soaked lentils or cooked lentils in this recipe as it is easy to digestate.
@CooknCreateHealth Жыл бұрын
Hi, using lentil powder/flour is quick and easy way to make crackers. You can use soaked/cooked lentils also but procedure will be longer as you will be dealing with a wet batter as compared to dough in this case.
