You can snap splitters and mergers to conveyors without dismantling them. Occasionally it doesn’t snap properly, but it usually works.

You can SHIFT click or CTRL click items from your inventory to the destination (or the other way around).

I love Satisfactory. If you’re making videos, it’s a better idea to focus on what makes you happy rather than what others want to see. Whatever content and style you choose, you will find an audience for it. This is better for your long-term channel growth than focusing on fickle opinions - especially the noisy minority.

Another tip. Instead of going to Q menu to select buildings all the time you can add your favorite buildings to the hotbar. 1, 2, 3 etc. To do this in the with the buildings window open just hover the mouse over a building and hit the key you want to asign it to. Like Merger on 5 and Splitter on 6 for example. You can also reasign 1-4 to other stuff if you want to. Further more you have an additional 9 hotbars avalable. Alt+Scroll wheel will cycle through them. And one other thing. When you are missing somthing to build you don't have to run all the way back to your hub to use the craft bench. You can just make a craft bench where you are at.

Deposits comes in Impure, Normal and Pure. For a MK1 miner on 100% clockspeed that corresponds to 30 ppm for impure, 60 ppm for normal and 120 ppm for pure. Where ppm stands for parts per minute.

I think the periodic pausing of the stream worked out nicely. Gives you time to figure some things out without worrying about talking/entertaining your viewers. 🙂 Looks like you're really catching on to the potential vision of getting the efficiency along with the automation going. I suggest working on those Milestones in the hub before bothering with the Space Elevator. That just opens later tiers, and you have a lot to experience, learn, and do before you're ready for them. You can take advantage of merging Biofuel burners together to have a greater shared capacity and possibly keep them around in one place instead of running around to fill them up. You may find more "wood" around bigger clusters of trees a littler further away. That converts to Bio Fuel with a much better ratio, so may build a constructor for grass and one for wood, and merge them. You probably saw the "Solid Bio Fuel" in the next Milestone which will be even more efficient. Since you are getting more resources storing, to help you plan resources for a layout that say is a little further from your hub... in your Build Window [ Q ] you will see a [ + ] symbol over each buildable item. Ticking the [ + ] and [ - ] icons will add/remove from a To Do list on the right.... AND it will show you the total amount of resources you need to build it all... such as taking a Copper node, you might take a miner, to a smelter, a splitter, 2 constructors making wire a merger going into 1 more constructor making cable then into a container. Add 2 power poles for the 5 buildings, a bio fuel generator, some cable and some conveyors... then in the To Do list it will show the total amount of iron plates, cable, reinforce iron plates, wire, and so on... and show you How much you have left to collect to fulfill the To Do list. 🙂 If you want to plan something out like that. Going into the [ Q ] build menu is an easy way to "edit" the to do list... and you can even place reminder "Notes" in there too. Once you get a ton of concrete and plates going (and unlock them in the hub,) you get to play with Foundations and "Zooping Modes" while building the foundations then you can stand in a tower or on high spots and line up buildings for handling larger amounts of resources you will conveyor into it. (Might even cover that open crevice over the void you keep jumping over with ramps. ) (Gravity doesn't matter when building foundations or anything in this game. They want people to just enjoy working the factory logistics challenges or enjoy styling buildings the way they want. Some people make amazing factories like art. Mine are just stacks of platforms, and sometimes walls. )

You dont have to turn off machines if the clock up. They dont use power if they are jammed. Only if they run they consume power. If you dismantle a conveyor with stuff on it it will put all of it in your pockets. So no worry about cleaning it before dismantling. You can also just put a splitter or merger on top of a existing belt. It will merge it into them.

Dont worry you can dismantle the HUB and replace it without loosing anything.

Hint: Fuel for power only gets used in this game as long as something is pulling it. If your powerplant produces 30MW but yoiur machines only pull 10MW it will only burn thru 1/3 of its max capacity of fuel.

You dont need to place conveyer poles manually, just snap the conveyer on a machine and then it will put a pole automaticly if you set it on the ground instead of another input/output. Same for powerlines. Poles get created automatically if you dont click on another machine.

I suggest you try to unlock tiers until you reach automated power production. At that point a lot of your questions will be answered.

Hint: select the mildestone you your goals are displayed on top left screen. hint: in the menu where you choose things to build you can click on the little + symbol to make a kind of shopping list that tells you waht you will need to build all of it.

Hint: If you find resources that you havent seen before, always grap some of it so you can start to unlock research projects for a lot of useful new stuff thats comes outsode of the Tier 1-8 goodies. I never watch twitch, i dont have so much time to waste ;D. I prefere much YT videos. I hope you keep going :). You havent seen nothing yet of this game. There are Inpure normal and pure resource nodes. Normal nodes give double the amount per time compared to inpure. Pure give double the amount per time compared to normal.
