يشير الله عز وجل إلى نفسه في القرآن الكريم بصيغة "نحن" الدال على العظمة لا الجمع، وهو أمر متكرر حتى في خطاب الملوك، يقول أحدهم "نحن جلالة الملك" ويُشار له ممن حوله بعبارات التبجيل بصيغة الجمع من نوعية "عظمتكم، جلالتكم" ولله المثل الأعلى.

I am a Muslim . Please don't mix up Islam in the Quran with Islam in the mind of the Muslims. Islam in the Mind of Muslims is A religion among other religions in the world while Islam in the Quran is the Religion which means peace in mind and surrendering to the truth or God. So anyone in any religion who is in a state of peace in mind and has surrendered to the truth is A Muslim. In other words the Religion Islam in the Quran is beyond all religions included the religion of Islam in the mind of the Muslim community! So you don't need to convert to the religion of Islam to be a Muslim. You may be a jew or a Christian or a Hindu and still be a Muslim in the sense of being in a state of peace in mind and surrendered to the truth. الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِهِ هُم بِهِ يُؤْمِنُونَ‏ وَإِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ إِنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلِهِ مُسْلِمِينَ . Those to whom We sent the Book before this,(the Quran) - they do believe in this (the Quran). And when it is recited to them, they say: "We believe therein, for it is the Truth from our Lord: indeed we have been Muslims from BEFORE this (the Quran) . Al-Qasas - 52,53

Everything that every Muslim says is not necessarily true. You have to research and discover many things yourself. Your question: Why does God introduce himself in the plural in the Qur'an? It is mentioned in the Quran that God is one but has many beautiful names. And the names describe various and multiple attributes of God. such as ; Creator. In fact, every name of God and his attribute; It is a form of God. Therefore, God's essence is one, but its forms are many. In other words, every form of God is an image of God and every image of God shows an attribute of His various attributes. Now God's actions taking place through His various forms or images. Like electricity, which is one but can have different functions. Therefore, in most cases, the Qur'an refers to God in the plural form.

Yes, sometimes Allah speaks in the Quran using the personal pronoun "We". This is called called in Arabic the tongue of greatness. Which means someone in command speaks using that pronoun. For example in this verse: "Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian." But also, Allah uses the personal pronoun is some cases. Example when he spoke to the prophet Moses in this verse: "Indeed, I am your Lord, so take off your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa."
