Niki Brisco on lead vocals, now the barker and occasional show producer at the Coney Island sideshow. Kenny Withrow on black guitar, formerly of Edie Brickell and New Bohemians. Bryan Wakeland on drums and vocals at the end, later with Tripping Daisy and Polyphonic Spree. Revival of Fever in the Funkhouse from around 1990.

This song has all the qualities of classic country and none of the qualities of bro country. I've said since I first heard this song when he played i ( with Pleasant Grove I guess? May have been w King Bucks first. ) play this is one of the best goddamn songs ever to come out of this town. And if he stopped it by famous aging country star like Willie Nelson? Or even some new up-and-comer in Nashville? He could make Bank on royalties and I think this song is extremely underexposed and that everyone should give it a listen. Warning though you'll be listening to it again to get the lyrics right. Because it'll be stuck in your f****** head and you want to know the lyrics! The burning trash will light the way..

Man I saw them at trees with rev Horton heat. They were awesome. We had their cd and listened to it always. Now it’s gone and lost and you can’t find any of Frankie 45 music online anymore and it’s sucks cause I really enjoy listening to them play!

Utube has some Spector 45, but not nearly enough. I have every CD he ever put out. Most of them were given to me by Frankie, my precious son. Thank you for posting your comment.

Oh, Frankie grew up with music from the Reverend Horton Heat. Barry Kooda and The Rotten Rubber Band as well. They were always playing in the car and at home. They all inspired him.

Sammy, you might try Anthony. He's the only member of Spector 45 still around and he and Frankie were best friends for most of Frankie's life. Anthony was always the drummer, too, in all of their bands. They practiced in Anthony's grandmother's garage. Cool on Grandma!

Two Texas legends sharing the stage. Both criminally underappreciated by the "music" listening public. I have always loved "Lumberlung", and Jon Dee's lap steel work on it is stellar. As an added bonus, The Webb Wilder Credo hangs on the wall behind Brent's right shoulder.
