The writing in this story was really good and managed to keep things interesting and engaging even with the limited amount of combat. It made me like Xilonen even more and I hope the things that took place in this quest have continuity in future stories^^ Curious to hear what you guys thought of this one. Also, which Tribal Chronicle was your favorite out of the three released so far?

Didn't watch it yet but will eventually. Just commenting for relevance the dang domain in this quest destroyed me I am really struggling with these exploration mechanics 😂. (Actually started to rage)

Very good stream

Though it was simple, I enjoyed this story for what it was: A wholesome story of helping someone work through unresolved past traumas and reuniting them with something dear to their heart^^ It's funny cuz I recorded this right after I recorded the last chapter of Like a Dragon Gaiden-- which had very similar themes in its ending^^; Anyway, hope y'all enjoy and join me for the next Agent Story which will be Burnice!🔥

The first completed playthrough on my channel! Having played all of the previous mainline games and the first Like a Dragon, this was the "next in line" game for me although it was an awkward game to start with on my channel. Just like in anime, "gaiden" stories are usually just fluff and filler-- and this game seems to be just that AT FIRST. But the ending here is a huge pay-off for any Yakuza/Like a Dragon fans who have been following Kiryu's story from the beginning. Anyway, I plan to continue playing this series tackling either Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth or Yakuza Isshin! next. But I'm going to take a break to dip into some other franchises first...

This is the semi-final episode! I was shocked when they stabbed up Nishitani on-screen, but then in the back of my mind I was like "hold on... this is Yakuza.." 🤭 IYKYK~ Anyway hope y'all enjoy and check out the final EMOTIONALLY CHARGED episode scheduled tomorrow!

Nice video, most of the lore goes over my head anyway so I personally don't think of it being a distraction when its put between scenes (I didn't even catch the hints of lore mentioned throughout).

Fun fact: IRL Pompey (Pompeius Magnus) was Julius Caesar's ally in the first Triumvirate, but later opposed him during the civil war. This was a pretty good quest^^ I actually grew to appreciate Kinich and Ajaw from doing this, after being lukewarm previously. It was also cool getting some backstory on the overworld boss Kongamato, and there was a nice meta aspect to what he said in the end. The only thing I don't like is how the third act of this was released separately from the first two. I kind of wish they had just released all three in the the second half of the patch with Kinich, because it was kind of hard getting back into the story after waiting. We also got a "feel-good" story and ending. But we didn't learn anything new about Koleda, the world lore, or even get a hype action cutscene -_- Anyway, let me know what you guys thought of this one~

This one was a bit more chill, but as I mentioned I like how they took a common existential question from the cyberpunk genre and used a sort of "children's story" to explore the idea. Anyway, do you guys think advanced AIs like Qingyi qualify for personhood, or are they just disposable tools? Is a person simply the sum of their memories and experiences? Are they still the same person if the memories and experiences are transferred outside of the shell they were born in?

They're all super grindy, but personally I thought this one felt a bit dull and repetitive-- especially the rounds with the generic masked opponents. I love LAD/RGG/Yakuza's unique brand of cringe-comedy XD What do you guys think of the live-action gameplay? If you really like it and find it funny, I would recommend checking out Yakuza 6: Song of Life as it also had the live-action scenes in the form of Kiryu chatting in live cam-shows XD Although honestly, I REALLY wish RGG Studio would bring back the disco minigame more than anything else!!

Miyabi had me acting up!! The HSO really reminds me of the Shinsengumi with their overcoats and the colors. I can't resist an Iaido-waifu either (Hibiki Takane anyone?)... I don't usually discuss leaks, but I also heard she was OP in the beta and had to be taken out... Anyway, are any of you saving up for Miyabi? What do you think of Hollow Zero in general?
