In the 60s, a former colleague stopped by a dive bar after school at about 12 y.o. in Baldwin NY and stood in the door watching a band rehearse. He did this 4 days in a row when a big guy invited him in for a coke to watch them play. It was Leslie West.

The guitar parts in their songs stand out. ARS takes me back to high school, hearing their songs on the radio, and going out with my friends to Marie Callender's for pie. lol We were too poor to afford concert tickets.

I saw the Starship at Standford College in 1980, Pablo Cruz was the first act up. Grace had both her beautiful daughters on stage singing back up. I still have the ticket stub.
