I know music is subjective and appeals to different people for different reasons. I also know it is not a competition. But since we live in the age of Taylor Swift it brings up a comparison in my mind. This is the first time I have heard of Lissie, (Since binging Loudermilk this week.) Seeing her in the show than watching this for the first time I know these performances are seared into my mind forever. After hearing many Taylor Swift songs for well over a decade now, I can't think of one or her songs that has impacted me as much as this song.

I just like that it’s her song and she doesn’t hit some of the notes, I like how I feel like this is how I sing with the radio even though I’m not this good.
