@PhysioNetwork The entire premise of manual therapy is nonsensical. How the F can you discuss evidence when the quality of research sucks so bad, and it sucks so bad because the paradigm of this goofy nonsense is structuralism? WTF is wrong with the physio profession that it continues to beat this dead horse? This is ridiculous. Gawd, no wonder PT is in the toilet with so many ppl leaving the profession.

How on earth do you not first have to establish plausibility prior to asking research to prove a question? Manual therapy simply does not fit into the current underlying paradigm, which itself is structuralism, which is an over-simplification of the human health condition. I swear, this is the stupidest, most illegitimate therapeutic model of treatment going. WTF is wrong with PT? Such a goofy cult.

@PhysioNetwork How can anyone suppose that any changes in pain are not simply due to placebo, which is the implicit case for every case of manual therapy? As soon as you touch someone, poof!, there is introduced into the system a confounding cascade of possible uncontrolled for possible effects. This disqualifies any conclusion that ties the proposed mechanism of the technique (cause), with the potential amelioration of pain (effect). Don't you understand this problem? If you do, why are you posting this goofy video?

I was advised against a second cortisol injection and referred to a specialist as the first injections that I had only lasted 4 months I say injections as I was given this in both wrists at the same time My new physiotherapist was lovely and recommended a referral and sent an email to yourself in July However I’m still waiting in agony every night -morning-and on my days off work I’m literally sleeping 2/3 hours per night working 46 hours over 4 days and at the stage where I want to cut off my hands Why am I classed as not priority?

Hi @mariedarling6354, i'm not sure if your comment is directed towards Nick Livadas? However, Nick doesn't work for Physio Network, he taught one of our courses. Your questions would be better suited being directed to Nick himself.

I was just told I need this surgery because my rotator cuff has a 3 cm tear and beyond repair...plus another tendon is torn and I have a bit of arthritis in the joint. I was shocked. Doing PT for now and will have procedure when I can no longer stand the pain. I adjust for the weakness and can sleep fine (for now). I am glad that revovery is generally fairly quick compared to other shoulder surgeries.

Hello. I used the leg curl machine with heavy weight and every time the leg was stretched, the weight made the stretch even more intense, probably causing damage to my pcl. Then, I started feeling pain every time I did that and finally I feel like having a painful PCL injury and it hurts after running, hitting the back of my foot somewhere, sitting on crossed legs etc. A doctor said it hasn't got to be a tear, but 2 months after and it hasn't heal at all. Is it really a PCL injury? Can I run long distances for my academy?

Nobody talks about concentric motion just only eccentric, but stretching was for me a very big mistake years long absolutely unnecessary, counterproductive, ruined any small progresses and caused nerve problems.
