you explained how to toggle "snapping" on and off.... how about how to do something like "make the power work"? I've installed the power panel with and without snap, I've connected wires, and it still will not hook up to a jukebox, nor will it power the armor display. Any help please?

lol I was an og player, rage quit for 5 years, came back, saw the dome, & loved it so much I just used it for my camp reflexively. My builds have since evolved becoming more complicated, but I have place-able blueprints of domes with different layouts inside; eg: my primary dome which held all basic crafting stations, symptomatic, bed, stashboxes, special stat buffing equipment, sacred mothman tome, cryogenic bed, vintage watercoolers, company tea,, & cookie jar... trying to remember if forgetting anything... radiation barrel, & instruments- it has most of the base instruments positioned around the centrally located symptomatic. Everything is functional, & looks nice when in use. Also have place-able blueprint(s) my "dog shed dome" which housed my fetch collectron, other resource producing camp items, more water, storage access, couple instruments, workstations, & radiation shower. I have since started playing with placing domes inside floating buildings to very nice effect- with my current build featuring 2 domes nested in a cubic,, floating structure comprised of winding path walls, greenhouse half-walls, & some enclave half-walls. The results allow for a lot of light to come in through the walls, which is quite pretty. The dome on the lower floor houses all crafting stations including brewing & fermentation. The dome on the top is my garden, which is beautiful, fairly symmetrical, & with a bit of a mothman theme going, with actual mounted mothman camp items in each corner, looking into the garden, where people can cook &/or rest at the communal fire pit,, take a seat to pick up one of the many instruments, hit the vending machines in the back- each of which is crowned with a grinning enlightened plushie, &/or reflect while reading the sacred mothman tome. It sparks joy. I love my greenhouse domes.

im a new player which one should i put more hours into? i like fallout 4 but fallout 76 has online and i can play w friends and its power armour and weapons look more smooth in movement so yea idk

Fallout 76 gameplay is a lot more polished, but thats not to take away from Fallout 4. Its story is a million times better overall

Graphics are a big difference too... they heavily downgraded the textures, animations, and lighting of 76. I use reshade and 4K texture overhaul so its much closer, but its insulting that the official game doesn't come with options for better textures and lighting.

so I just bought 76 and am amazed how good it is in 2024, if the embarrassingly stupid fo4 story is better than fo76, I am literally out of this franchise and back in new vegas

*"Fallout 4 has multiple endings...you have so many different options when it comes to Fallout 4."* No. To complete the main storyline, you really only have TWO options - destroy the Institute with one of the main factions, or save the Institute, destroying the Brotherhood & Railroad in the process. There is NO REPUTATION system - nothing changes in game should you decide to choose the Institute ending or Faction ending. Perhaps you're confusing Fallout 4 with New Vegas, but like every major Bethesda title, there's really no choice - no real options. Bethesda acknowledged this because the closest we got to an RPG with Fallout 4 was Nuka World allowing you to claim/reclaim settlements for one of the Raider factions which was still pointless because you couldn't eliminate the Minutemen. Fallout 76 is ironically better in this regard.

Fallout 4 has a more varied story with more choices. Fallout 76 is better in every other way. Better world, better vats, better weapons and armor, better legendary options, public events with world bosses. People bash Fallout 76 endlessly repeating what they saw on a video 5 years ago... and that's fine with me. It keeps the toxic people out of the game.

What in the actual fluff is going on... I've spent a good 30 mins browsing the most popular fallout 4 vs 76 videos...spent atleast 20 mins prior to that figuring out that new vegas is an older game than fallout 4. These videos are ridiculous this guy is calling one of them a blues clues version and the other one all about factions and mutliple endings but in the end you can do anything. Is fallouts main fanbase smoking crack and meth at the same time?
