Sick for Toys is a great opener. I wish that I'd been anywhere near a show on this tour. The Sugarcubes were always seen as a "one hit wonder" band, but I like all of their music. While their existence was brief, they gave us a lot of great music. I'm glad Bjork's genius extended past the band's notoriety. So many memories.

Honestly I'm so glad they turned down Einar's vocals during this session, I think they make a good instrument when faded out and add a lot to the songs vibe, but if you look at any other live performance of this song his vocals are *really* annoying and feels like they destroy the song.

She upstages everyone, seemingly effortlessly. Do you think the other members of the Sugarcubes knew they were a vehicle to get Bjork into the USA (I was in the loop back in the day).

I had no idea her live performances were so good, this version of "Human Behaviour" is much better to me than the studio one

Yes she's amazing in live performances... I have listened and watched to a lot of live and bootlegs... the live performances are very emotional and you czn feel what wonderful sense of rhythm runs thru her. One of my favorite artists of all times and, especially in that period - the 90's - I was pretty obsessed with these songs.

I fell in love with the Sugarcubes in the late 80s. They were amazing! It might be an unpopular opinion, but when Björk went solo with her style completely different from alternative music, I was disappointed in the electronica direction. Björk’s vocal prowess - melodic, screams, growling - with the Sugarcubes’ music was just mesmerizing, and solely missed on my part

I was fortunate to see them in SF in 1992. The FOH amps failed and Einar held a 150lb monitor wedge on his head to continue the show. I'm still shaking 34 years later. Pure Bliss... There will never be a better collaboration of master creatives... Sigtryggur was the best... Omg Bjork fed off him. Bjork - Best ROCK Vocalist EVA***.. You know it, True Queen B Hope they can rejoin And Tour Once Again. It would prevent WW111. The Warfield needs a redo

Damien Hurst's comment 'but you didn't' is quite crass really. We can all go out there and be artistic and create something that no one has done before. We do it as children when we build dens, each one an individual piece. What people get upset about when something is intrinsically basic like Tracy Emin's 'Unmade bed' is the weight the art world gives it. I firmly believe everyone should be involved in some form of art and creative process, whether it be painting, music, acting, photography, writing, poetry etc, etc. It gives worth, value and self expression to one's life and can be a great form of release. Bjork comes over really well in this interview. I like the way she looks at the artistic process. I don't think you can formulate that process because each individuals creativity is triggered by different things in their life.

The date is October 26, 2024. I am alone for the weekend in my college dorm right now. I have been listening to Bjork for almost 2 years now, and had pourposfully went slow in discovering all her best songs. I savior the special moment, the moment when someone gets a true wave of dopamine from listening to music beyond art, to listen to music that truly touches the soul. I choose certain days when I am fully relaxed (off an edible or not lol) and try and find a live performance I have NOT seen from her yet. Somehow, I missed this one. I watched this concert/video for this time and also listened to Bachelorette for the very first time. I write all this because Bachelorette was one of those songs. One of the rare, and what I have found mostly from Bjork; one of the songs that truly touches the soul. I write all this because right now I am essentially sharing pure nostalgia, nostalgia that If I were to read it would make me realize how special songs like Bjork's are. This comment might get lost on the internet, seen from someone a decade in the future. Like how I viewed this decades later then other comments, when from right now, which is 2024. Maybe her songs will go trending on social media, perhaps on a new popular app a decade in the future. And one person from that time might come back and see this comment. If you are reading this, truly savor the moments when discovering Bjork for the first time. There is no artists like her. No one. And thats what I am afraid of... what if after I discover all the good songs by Bjork for the first time, and feel that soul-touching feeling... all to never feel it again because NO artist as good as her shows up? Are you telling me that in 10 years, a talent will have the music and vocal capability as Bjork? Peace and love, whoever is reading this. Listen to Bjork off a safe but effective dose of edibles. Because... this WILL let you BE ABLE to feel the feeling of listening to a Bjork song for THE FIRST TIME. I wonder, how many people have tried this? I need more people to discover Bjork😭so they can share this feeling with me!

@@André-k5s1t True... True. And I have realized that now. I savor every album to listen to for the first time and now discovered the genius of Volta and Fossora. Biophilia will be next, but for now I have to study for exams lol. Listening to Bjork is like candy to my ears!
