I have the same bike, same year, but blue. Love it. I bought it new in 1978. Now I have just restored it completely in 2021. Mine has original exhaust, looks like yours does to, which is extremely rare.

Przepięcia skok napiecia i trup.

Great bike, I had a blue one in the eighties to nineties. Its shape is classic. Mine also had twin discs front and was better equiped than the 650. Lighter than the 750 or Z1000 or Z1100, but can keep up on a run and you can throw it around like a fifty. I replaced the stock twins with a Cowley 4 in 1 exhaust. To increase survival probability make sure the forks are balanced. If the pressure is different at high speed you'll get a wobble, and you need very strong grip to control between the moment the wobble start until you've slacked off. Usually not a problem at urban speed limits Let the bike warm up on choke until the revs climb before you ride. Adjust chain slack. Wear good boots and gloves. Run in new tyres before even moderate cornering. In my opinion the engine is/was bulletproof. Not like when you actually shoot at it, but It redlines routinely without a hiccup. Won't go over 200km/h but at top end you live microseconds at a time. No ABS. Once did a 400km weekend trip from Pretoria to Paulpietersburg at night in the rain with dozens of impatient SUV's trailing boats on their way to Sodwana forcing me to maintain 140 km/h or be pushed off the road. After the first one passed me while I was doing 120, soaking me further and reducing visibility to zero I stupidly accelerated instead of just pulling of the road or turning back. I am still amazed I didn't become a statistic. On another cold rainy winter night I almost froze to death on a long trip. The Z is a great memory maker.

It's nice to see an 81 in such good shape. Far too many people out there taking perfectly good, if not rare one- year bikes like this and hacking the back end off, removing the fenders and paint everything black - and think they're doing something clever or original. It's just ruining a perfectly functional motorcycle. I had an 84 GPz550, always wanted an 81. I would check the date on that front 591 Dunlop, it might be as old as the bike.
