Hell to the yeah!! He has finally done it!! Good to see your ugly face on the screen finally, Adamski! I really like that you not only shared your presonal story with this fragrance, pulling back all that personal bond with this fragrance, but you provided us with a thorough analisis of the composition. As always great job!! It was great seeing a video from you. I recently tried the edt version and I can't see any tobacco whatsoever. I can totally agree that the ingredients are really well blended, nothing stands out. But I must disagree with one thing - I can totally see it as an everyday scent, even for the office. It definitelly has a very distinct masculne character, I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it myself. I guess see you sometime mid 2024 🤣🤣🤣
@thescentsofme Жыл бұрын
hahaha, thank you pixie! 🤣 i don't make any promises anymore, 2024 is indeed a possibility :D (i'm horrible...) if your master nose doesn't see it as a T-O-B-A-C-C-O perfume either, then mine is not completely broken yet, i guess.

Thanks Adam, lovely to see you with one of your perfume reviews again🌸! Missing your Vanille Tonka video of yesteryears on your channel though. I thought it was great and wished to re-see it now - at the time it did make me explore and appreciate Nicolaï, one of my fav houses till now😊

You rock Adam. So happy to see you back. 🙏 And what a superb review! Incidentally, I was helping a family member move this weekend and in his large box of toiletries I just so happened upon a bottle of The One edt that was only 20% full. I didn't even know he used fragrances! Wasn't at all impressed with the scent the first time I went through a sample, but I did eventually end up picking up the edp after it was hyped to death on YT. 🤣 Sometimes I just can't resist the mass mind. I'm sure many can relate. But after I saw that nearly empty bottle sitting there in that box all dusty and abused, the poetry certainly wasn't lost on me. Perhaps use is the highest form of appreciation? 🤔 I confess that I enjoy the scent much more now than I did previously.

what a great, outstanding video. It´s a pitty that there isn´t more content like that around instead of all the hype-beastmode-pantydropping screaming... Your comment on parfumo and this video gave me the last push to explore "Vanille Tonka" (amongst my growing love for this intersting brand) - and I simply love this well balanced and most unique piece of work! Thx and I hope you´ll come back to making more of this great content - unfortunately discovered it only recently...

Very Interesting creation is Note de Yuzu since yuzu is not so common citrus.It is common in far east like Japan.So if you are looking for spring/summer scent there is something new.Eau Sacree is "spiritual" fragrance since it reminds me on church.Its church,church.

I think eau sacrée is not for u if u didn't went to church as a kid, because the incense the priest utilized smells exactly like that, even more timeless than cardinal but if u don't know u just don't

i’ve smelled real burning incense resins since then, and they were indeed a lot closer to Eau Sacree than to Avignon. worn Eau Sacree a few times as well and i really like it actually. thanks for stopping by

@@thescentsofme yeah u get it, when u burn real church incense it's not smoky like some people think it is, it's enveloping and sweet and dry a bit resinous, thanks to u for the vid

Aaaand he's BACK in modafu***ing style!!! Oh how I waited for this ;D Great review, Adam! Love the intro and the whole imagery you created. I totally get what you mean when you talk about the naural oakmoss, I can recognise it in perfumes, but when I sniffed that absolute with you I didn't recognise it. Its representation in fragrances is rather different. I must say I really didn't like Faun, like most ELDOS for me it has something overwhelming and this one in particular. When you mentioned ginger I had an "aha" moment, because although in theory it's an invigorating smell, I find the smell if fresh ginger and how it feels in perfumes utterly sad and depressing. I really can't explain it. From what I remember this perfume was very autumnal for me, but it's not a vibrat, colourful autumn, it's rather damp,earthy and sad. But I totally agree, this scent has nothing eccentric nor sexual about it. Nice to see you back. I hope I won't see you here again in two years, hahahah ( I had to).

Great reveiw. This is my favorite Chanel fragrance. It is sparkling, green, and demure. It is also expensive. Do you by chance know of any alternatives/dupes for Cristalle Eau Verte? I can't really afford it at this moment and am looking around for a less expensive alternative.

Nori Lori agree. It’s very pleasant and has a uniqueness. I recently tried Aqua Celestia Forte from Madison Francis Kurkdjian, thinking it would be relatively similar but it wasn’t.
