Hope that this is a better quality than the Italieri 1/9 model. A lot of errors in the drawing, very unclear about putting parts together and the black plastic parts are inpossible to glue!

That's what I say too. "Battle damage". I got a chuckle from that. If you can't make it look good, make it look blowed up. I think you're right about that side of the fuel tank. I'm sure the lip doesn't stick out on the top like that, and I think the full-size model didn't have a seam there at all but wrapped around the corner. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Thanks, Philip

Thx, for the comment. the little body line along the tool box and battery box with some paint on it did come out a decent, it doesn't look as bad as it did. I am working on the gaps on the side panels, when that is done I will do another update.

Thank you for the review. I think the tracks could be workable, but it looks like a poor design. the track instruction should have read J1 93x2. I'm spoiled by the quality of the kits available today, and compared to them this kit is a little lacking. I don't know exactly how this works, but like the other commenter said, if turning your camera to landscape gives me a larger picture on my monitor, I'm all for it. Are you planning to build this kit? Thanks again, Philip

another example of bad art but high quality model.. Its insane to think the company would have been HUGE today if they invested more in art. It makes a difference in normies buying moidels

Run the smaller 3s battery up front on that plate. That's what it's for and then throw your speaker in the old battery slot. Just an opinion

there is really no excuse for all the sink marks in the track pads. That was the kind of quality you would see decades ago, but not now. The detail is ok, not great, kind of hard to tell from a distance sometime. Thank you for the review. If you are going to build it I will have to tune in for that.

they are no doubt sink marks, I started filling them today, so far i have a run of 11 links done on the track. For some crazy reason, I always build the track first.

Hi there! - -I think if you did a motor drop...as in clock your motor down low, you'd get over that spot in your course without tipping :)

Nicely done! I built the Ausf A/B/C variant of this kit, and I agree that the upper and lower hull and main gun were challenging. However, I had watched Andy's build video for the F version and it helped me be prepared for the 'fun'. I used the internal bits for the vision ports and modeled them opened, along with the turret hatch. My planned diorama will have the crew (Jeff Shiu figures) outside the tank, scanning ahead, taking a smoke break, etc.

Just finished mine today also. Not a bad kit, but then I don't think I'd want to build another. Some really poor fitting points like the headlights and rear fender springs. As for the interior gun and scope mounts, that beat me. Crazy number of minute parts to be cemented together that I threw them in the bin. Never to be seen either way. I went for the DAK version without turret bin.

One of the worst kits I've ever built, the hull is an issue and also the gun is totally over engineered considering most of it wont be seen with some really minute parts, I binned most of mine

What battery tray is that? Will it still hold the long 3s 5000ah batteries? Most I see seem to only hold shorter batteries. Thanks!

Yes, it will take the long batteries, it will even hold the 6 cell Nimh batteries.
