If that was my property, the first thing I would do is designate part for pasture a d plant trees all around the rest of it. Second thing I would so is to paint the PLASTER walls off white to lighten up the interior and really show of that gorgeous wood. Third, get rid of the wall to wall carpet and put down stone or wood flooring...much easier to keep clean and far more hypoallergenic.
