Got a 2015 XG750 with 4900 miles on it last year. Guy said it had been sitting in a shed and wouldn't start. After cleaning the fuel system it started and rode okay. Went to start it with 5015 miles on it, whinnnnggg, no start and started won't engage. Both starter idler gear bosses broke off inside the cases.

What I LOVE about the Sportsters I've had is the turn sig. switches being on both sides. WHY do bikes not DO this???

Interesting! If your Harley is a genuine 500cc rotax then it might be a very rare bird indeed. The original bikes were manufactured specifically for the British army by Canadian company CanAm (I think?), and designated as the Armstrong MT500. They were kick start only, with drum brakes front and back and mounted with two saddle bag frames at the rear with no gun case. Towards the end of the bikes service life in the British army, Harley Davidson took over the patent and added some updates including, disc brakes, starter motor, gun case, front plastic panniers and rear chassis reinforcing strut. However they also decreased the bore from 500cc to 350cc. If your bike has a genuine 500cc rotax then it is either an early first run of the newly upgraded Armstrong ( now a Harley) or a later run 350cc which has been retrofitted with an older large bore engine. A rare machine either way you look at it.

Will these work with the WHIM? Do the regular non-harley branded cardos work with the WHIM? I just got a 2019 street glide special. I have a cardo freecom 4x and want to get the whim but want to make sure it works.

I love my little 2015 750 I took the muffler off and running straight pipe. Crash bars. Risers. Lower seat. Carriage rear. Chrome basket. Skull fog lights. Skull stickers. Leather bags. Learther steamers. Windshield. Minnie Harley that gets noticed. Handle bars are covered in skull doodads.

‘Analog’ gauges don’t REQUIRE us “using our eyes NEAR AS MUCH as digital. Digital tech absolutely requires NOT only our eyes but our MENTAL acuity PROCESSING that VERY information WE’RE SEEING. Gauges are golden for “spotting info” and immediately knowing you’re good to go..IF it moves out of a KNOWN ‘NORMAL operating” sweet spot..you’re on top of it without much thought !

Gotta say that exhaust note is very nice…. ^^. I hate seeing the Street series get so much hate and flack from HD Riders, as this would be a great Standard motorcycle, and one I would strongly consider riding. Cheers….

Dec '22, seeing this video for the first time. Nice job, at the 4:56 minute mark- blowing thru that "stop" sign! Obviously you've not heard the "STOP" joke! Stands for "Slight Tap On Peddle", that's why you see so many people blow right through the intersection that has that sign there! They light-up their brake lights, and, keep on going! 🏍️😵🙄🥺💔Doug

Dirt Bike Gear is great when you are hitting a trail for a few hours when the weather is nice. ADV Gear is for hitting the trail for days at a time, in all weather conditions. It's not the same. It's not supposed to be the same.

@@martinegenereux593 unless she is a tall woman the Fatbob wouldn't be a good choice for her, the dyna Fatbob was designed for a tall person to ride comfortably. She would be better off on a low rider with mid controls or a super glide
