Zaktheripper "golden armor" build was the one I mentioned for beating/controlling the Erlang fight. Might need a little getting used to, but man, does it work.

Been playing the Director Cut since it came out on Xbox. Found your new playthrough and noticed that we are in the same general progression of the game. So far I am finding this game much different that how the reviews called it. I think he nailed it on getting a person to spend hours in the game and the multiverse mechanic of shared contributions is something that I never seen before. Also it's cool that they have the Valve and other cross over content.

It's great that it came to Xbox and I'm glad you're enjoying it. I love this game and I'm huge fan of making other players journeys better with the shared mechanic! (It's the next level of leaving messages in bloodbourne) The cross over content and extra content from the Directors Cut is the cherry on-top.

Fun fact, yellowbrow's whole thing is stealing power. So the whole fight, he takes your spells and turns them against you. When he's gold, 2 charged attacks (with 3 focus points) break it. The lighting ring can get jumped over. Also, spellbinder was the thing we were given to avoid that. If we have no magic, he has no power to copy/steal.

In regards to the loong scale and the water/sandfall secrets.... I just saw each of them, and the gamer in me was like, "Yeah, there's something behind there." Finding the scale was a complete accident because, in my fight with the giant rat, he smashed the wall during the fight. And it's amazing how close you were to the wind chime just on accident. If you'd wandered back through rock cliff, you had completed all the quest objectives up to that point and would have been able to collect it.

Yeah it's crazy how many things are hidden in plain sight, I could have really used the windchime with the chapter main boss though 😅 so after that I'm checking spoiler free secrets often to not miss anything.

I'm not sure if you've looked this up by now, but killing the little guy before the big guy would allow you to collect the big guy's spirit.

@NSM1327 Scorpion lord and yellow long took me the longest to get down. Scorpion, though, was a mother for me. Surprisingly, Erlang was not as hard for me as everyone else said it was going to be. (Still tough, but maybe only 3-4 attempts)

@NamashaGames That's very interesting. White clad noble gave me a bit of trouble while most found him a cake walk so I wonder if it's a case of those bosses helping us hoan the specific skills that we're lacking in so the next boss that fights like that becomes easier.

Whiteclad Noble was my toughest Ch1 boss (15ish attempts), but I chocked that up to still being a noob and not fully understanding fight mechanics 😅
