I have 12.5, 5.1 and 12.5.1.1x and I have had to help the FSD on all speeds up to 65 mph. It will not hold speed at all. I have had many other problems on my trip of 2290 miles. Can't go into all, but I hope they do a better job on the next build.

@@robertquandt7266 use normal mode, I found the confident mode has problem on speeding up on highway.

@@robertquandt7266 I mean average mode, if assertive mode it won't speed up on highway, at least I found this issue on 12.5.1. Then I always use average mode now.

@@robertquandt7266 And also adjust speed limit in FSD settings, give it more margin to automaticly adjust up. I am using + 20 which is the highest margin. Then on 65 high, it will automatically promoted speed limit to 85.

Why does the video show the driver with no hands on steering wheel except once briefly? FSD is supposed to work w driver's hands on wheel at all times. Videos like this are why many people oppose the technology. Also, the car is supposed to warn the driver when hands are NOT on the wheel. I don't see that occurring in video either.

From version 12.5, hands on wheel is not required. But still need look at the road, it monitors driver with the camera. If driver play cell phone, it will warn.

no problem. Actually, it's on road 237 in bay area, CA. Mostly the rear car careless and didn't see front car sharp slowing down and crashed. You see the Tesla in front of me breaking light on and slowing down very early.

However it usually goes over solid line when right and left turn. Actually I expected it do merge early, there was a very good change before the pickup truck pass. It didn't do it and I had to take over after the truck passing. But unfortunately crossed the solid line.

It wouldn't get over because of the truck and then the Solid white. Technically crossing a solid white is against the law which is why your tesla didn't do it on its own. Just bad circumstance, it's why even in FSD you're supposed to stay behind the wheel.
