So this type of swap can be done only by sourcing oem pedal box oem Gearbox oem cable oem drive shafts A clutch kit and flywheel If you don’t have those parts don’t even start looking for a shop yet, Alternatively and more economical is to find a new engine and gearbox combo and do a swap like a d16 swap or a b16/b18 swap

It could be if you make sure the oil pressure stays at the right level , it would need a baffled sump and oil cooler as a minimum,
@rajitp52698 күн бұрын
@@TURBOTRISTO thx heaps I will look into it, also is a cold air intake and custom exhaust going to help maintain temperatures so track runs a re e consistent?
@TURBOTRISTO8 күн бұрын
@rajitp5269 I would start with making sure the engine is reliable without spending a lot of money, you could put some diy Bunnings baffles in the sump and make sure the bushes and ball joints are roadworthy, then if you could research an oem junkyard brake upgrade from another model ford perhaps like a telstar or mondeo or something, and go have fun learning the car and how to drive fast at the track, I wouldn’t waste money on any sort of performance or power upgrades, before making sure the engine can handle the abuse at the track, just make sure it won’t loose oil pressure and won’t over heat and make sure it will stop and go and have fun. If it’s reliable then maybe upgrade the springs and shocks, from there then go power mods
