I'm seeing some friends here having difficulty understanding what's happening in the anime. But this happens because most people have never seen this before, at this point I have the advantage of age and having already seen this way of presenting history. The general anime audience is used to a straight story supported by flashbacks to show how a certain character got to that point. But that's not the structure they're using in this anime. However, in this anime they are using the same presentation structure that Tarantino uses in his films. It is not a straight story, but rather several individual stories that are connected through a central plot through which the characters go through, but without the deaths and bloodbath that follow in his films. This is not a cheerleading anime, this is actually an anime about three different nucleus characters: Anna and Nodoka, Obunai and Shion, Kanata and Megumi. These 3 groups each have a connection nucleus: Anna and Nodoka the Stout Records, Obunai and Shion the relationship and the desire to be friends and Kanata and Megumi the group of cheerleaders. With them all connecting through the PomPoms group the girls made to support each other. For those who haven't yet gotten the idea of how the anime is being presented, I recommend the films Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs by Trantino, which have this presentation structure. Personally, I didn't expect to ever see this structure in an anime, but I liked seeing it and it is, at least for me, working very well. Hugs to everyone (yes, I'm Brazilian).
