I own a 2019 Ciaz 1.5 diesel. Service and spare availability is an issue for it. Last service i had to change a water pump which took more than a week to be made available. Average service cost for me was around 10k. Have done 70k kms overall as of now. But apart from these cons , this car is a keeper❤

I wrapped metal mesh around fuel hose and taped the mesh layer and its been a year since then and no rat bite incidents. IDK whether this works for others but I bought a 5 litre can of wd40 and put it in a spray bottle and spray it in the engine bay after cleaning it once every 2 weeks or so and I also dont spray near the engine or exhaust but only where rats used to nest.

Sir I feel . Main reason is ur new house parking (it looks clean). I use Black belt phenyl in the gate of the parking in every night. Instead of tinner use strong concentrate phenyl

Placing fresh tobacco leaves worked for me but must remember to remove before starting. Carcat worked for me as well. The 3M spray as time goes corrode especially engine area as there is heat.

I also own a Ford freestyle and one day rats destroyed couple of wires causing ABS, traction control and airbag failure. As you mentioned naphthalene balls and tobacco worked only for couple of days. I also kept rat traps near front tyre and within a week 2-3 rats got trapped. Here's what finally worked for me. I stopped parking my car at one place. I started parking my car at different place and position everyday. Even if I don't use my car for the day, I just change its position before going to bed. I've been practicing this from almost 3 years and never faced any rat issues.

It's a nice idea but would not work with all especially in Mumbai where parking spaces are tight. Yeah if 3-4 people agree to swap their parking spaces then I think it can help.

Bhai, kaam to karta hai but 2-3 din ke liye. Koi bhi spray jyada din lasting nehi karta.

Surely he has no experience driving on the highways with Kiger as he might not have experienced the poor visibility with the headlights. But he might have realized the headlight has Poor Vision (instead so-called Pure Vision by the manufacturer) he has installed the aftermarket aux lights! It is just new now but he will surely experience as time progresses the loud noise of the engine in the cabin, vibration during reversing the car, reduced mileage after the 3rd service and many more to come. I own RXZ AMT and I have found these drawbacks. The mileage is 13.4 Km. in the city and a max of 16.5 km, on the highway. Maintenance will cost you around Rs. 7K annually.

To be honest, I don't think it's a good idea in 2025. Maruti needs to upgrade this car to be vfm for 13 lakhs. You will get better alternatives at this price, unless you get a crazy deal on this.

Compared to i20, you will get a better space, your maintenance will be cheaper and the mileage will be better on Ciaz. It might be old but still a banger

I suggest not to use any paint protection. But if you have to have some protection - then go for ceramic. Don't go for matte black ppf, too expensive to maintain
