Yeah sadly I ended up using tons and tons of ammo and only got 1 save file so I cant even redo it and save a lot of ammo but I still have over a hundred handgun ammo so I hope I’ll be good😢

Dog pelts were the hard part for you? 😂 Up until this part of the game (100hrs in) I hadnt seen a single feather, never even accidentally. I tried the huntsman, nadda. I tried the Rattay alchemist, nadda. At this point i fully believed the quest was asking be something the developers forgot to code into the game!

@CDG yeah im not sure what I did wrong but I loaded a previous save with all saved and completed the game and overtime mode again and it's fine now

How do you check the ammo type per weapon? How do you check the supplies of each ammo type? This game is fucking fustrating - things like this should be OBVIOUS

Equip the weapon to see the ammo. Ammo can be seen in your inventory and at campfires.

Thank you, I hope this helps me. The trading interface has flummoxed me repeatedly. Also, it seems I can’t sell damaged weapons? Another topic of interest on Xbox is how to select items to use (meds, anti rads, etc) during gameplay with the Dpad. I can’t seem to scroll through the inventory of items to select something other than the default item pictured.

That is correct, you cannot sell damaged weapons. You can repair them at a trader and then sell them, but I’m not sure if that would be profitable. The devs could change that with future updates and might even introduce weapon repair kits, who knows? As for the quick slot items, you can select 2 items on both the left and right of the D-pad. If you press and HOLD left or right it will use one item, where as just quickly pressing will use the other. This allows the quick use of 4 items including food, drink and healing items. These items can be changed by selecting them in the inventory and choosing the quick slot option. Hope this helps.

"dodge" there is no dodge in this game. I am playing it for the first time and I am a little past this, I just wanted to see if I wasted an insane amount of ammo on the guy and I think I may have.

It's not a dodge animation as such, but more about timing your movement to trick the enemy. By tricking them into an attack, it allows you to move away or past them without them being able to grab you due to their triggered animation. This could be seen as moving near them and then running backwards and then past them. Do some research online, you can dodge past enemies in this game.

Maybe take a break and go back with a fresh head. Also, depending on how you are for healing and ammo, you might want to restart 🤷🏻♂️ Either way, good luck, you can get there 👊🏻

I might have screwed up i didn't know about bill until later ( he's dead) Now I'm going for the B ending and i hardly have anytime to save the lover's coward man and do cliff's boss fight i swear it feels like the time goes super fast

It was around here that I realized Silent Hill 2 is more puzzle than combat and that made me very sad lol. I stuck around for the story but jeez was this a grueling process lol - half of these puzzles I looked up and most of the time I was baffled. How the hell was I supposed to put two and two together for these wild goose chases 🤣
