I can't believe I've been listening to this song for years, and only just now decided to truly "hear" the lyrics. I had a cat that died before his time. I did everything I could but all I could do was watch him waste away. This song hit me like a ton of bricks. Honestly I haven't ugly cried in a while, and that felt good to get it out. I'll miss you forever, Buddha. Such a wonderful black cat taken by an illness I could never figure out. His ashes have a special place on my bookshelf. I still hug the box sometimes...

every other year i would come back to this band and binge their music and idk why i didn’t add their music to my playlists. doing that now.

This song makes me think of an ex friend. I think about him whenever I think about some of the things he got me into like Sally Face, and Tales From The Gas Station. It's been almost two years I think, and I still miss him. I thought about reaching out to him, but I'm just worried he'd never respond or worse.
