I love Blender for many reasons, here are a few, open-source, great community, allows me to donate how much I can afford, and it's made by makers for makers as opposed to the other apps that are made by marketing people for shareholders. use it and contribute, money, time, or both

I suspect there are insiders within Blender Foundation who are probably being paid off by the competition to stifle certain areas of Blender from being developed. I might be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised. It is in the interest of the competition to see Blender strangled, if you know what I mean. I do hope I am wrong.

To think that Blender was 100k euros away from never existing scares me. What a true tragedy that would have been.

‘Software’ not ‘a software’ - it’s a collective noun like ‘hardware’ or ‘equipment’.

Videos like this are needed as blender needs more support and attention in order to get the funding it needs to innovate new functionality

Thumbs Up! After using Blender for a few years now I can say that overall it is an amazing program. It's like the Swiss Army knife of 3d software. You can do just about anything from modeling to sculpting, animation, particle and smoke simulation. It does have it's drawbacks though especially the particle and smoke sims. It takes a lot of work to get them to come out right and Blender loves to crash when trying to bake them. Also the render times for Cycles can get pretty ridiculous if you have a lot going on in your scene. But they do keep improving it (for the most part) with updates and who can complain with it's low price of $Free.99.

Great job! We need more videos that shine a light on the hard work happening behind the scenes with groups like this. It’s inspiring and motivates people in so many ways-keep it up! 🌟👏

I'm also really looking forwards to seeing other studios pursuing this kind of art style/adult animations. Fortiche has set the bar very high but it would be awesome to see this genre take off - even in the form of anime remakes. So many animes have excellent writing, but I have a hard time watching them because of their often poor animation. Imagine if these shows were remade with arcane level animation and voice acting. The possibilities are endless

Where are some of the clips intercut with Arcane in the intro from? That one on the train, the one with the girl in the laundromat with the crystal skirt and then the one with the blue and yellow beams cutting across the sky? Are they other stuff by Fortiche? Keen as to find more of their work but all I can find is Rocket and Groot and their upcoming Penelope of Sparta. Thanks for the video!

@ThehallofexcellenceАй бұрын
Great eye! The train and laundromat scenes are from Pop/Stars by K/DA, and the beams across the sky are from Imagine Dragons' Warriors music video. They’ve also worked on shows like Rabbids Invasion and Rocket & Groot, and I’d definitely recommend checking out their earlier work like Le dernier Gaulois to see how much they’ve grown. Thank you so much for supporting the channel-I’m really glad you enjoyed the video!

It was about time. French students from les Gobelins, arguably the best animation school in the world, have been showing off their massive talent for well over 20 years ! It was about time that, after having worked at Pixar and Dreamworks for over a decade, some of these superpowered animators would go back to France and blow up the international scene.
