I am not sure why Super Dave can make me laugh so consitantly. Pwrhaps he drags you into a similar persona or knows you are not going to take live seriously. I just do not know.

This was the first time I ever saw Indycar as a kid. It was a re-run in the mid 2000's while at my Grandma's house. I distinctly remember Dario Franchitti's white & green car from it. Thank you so much for archiving this on KZbin!

@Andreas Goldfus, it's actually 1974. That was when there was a minority government and the NDP under David Lewis supported P.E.T.'s Liberal government. Two other clues. _The National Dream_ was aired on CBC TV during winter 1974, and Trudeau mentioned he watched it. Final item, W.O. Mitchell was the Writer in Residence at Massey College, University of Toronto, from September 1973 to May 1974. In the program it mentions he's the Writer in Residence at UofT. Please change the title to the correct year.

Only problem is that was the year the CBC gave on that clip.

Is there an airdate for this episode? I own a 16-millimeter kinescope of an episode from around 1958.

0:14 - The answer is Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca (1942). Also, I can tell this is a Canadian commercial because the scene at the beginning was taken from the Unicorn Masquerade Ball commercial.

So hard to believe she was *82* at the time of this interview! She looks 50-something (my age)! Such a classy timeless beauty, she is, and back in the day she was just one of the bombshells to end all bombshells! Those hips matched Elvis' move for move and she always was just All That And Then Some. That and her stance on the Vietnam veterans endears her to me even more. Lord bless her in every way.

Such a simple concept . Three guys just chatting calmly about books and stories and the simple things in life. And the drawbridge always going up and down to the lilting recorder music playing the same tune. So reassuring for the children watching.
