Sorry I know its probably just how you do the hobby but could you put you glue pot on the right so you camera doesnt keep losing focus as you get more glue on the brush.

Great overview. I was looking for starter terrain for the new Legions Imperialis and this looks like its perfect. Overtime I can buy a replacement mat and upgrade the buildings over time. I'm sure the card buildings don't last for ever, how did they fair for you, and would you still recommend them ?

Here's a heartwarming story... I'm not much of a 40k guy but wanted to delve into Kill Team. And to get in the mood I pulled out my ancient copy of Gav Thorpe's 'Kill team' novel. And then I caught this video and went "They made MINIS of these guys?!" and drooled appropriately. Then since I don't have these models I went to pull out my ancient metal Catachan blisters to inventory and who did I see hanging out with them? COLONEL EFFIN' SCHAEFER - yay! So thank you Me From 25 years ago for buying him and thank you Too Many Metal Men from 5 years ago for the fun vid

Just wondering, were the Last Chancers actually any good? I mean, they were the primary reason I wanted to play IG when I first got into 40k, but I couldn't find ANY of the models or rules on how they worked. Also, could they even function in Kill Team or current 40k or would they be stuck forever in forgotten legacy?

Nice video. I'm a bit late to this game, I have the initial Rynn's world stuff, box set, book, cards and extra Ork and Navy models. The Tau look great and the new Navy stuff too. Are there major rules left out between the rule book in the box set and the Taros air war book? They pulled that one with the initial release and the Rynn's world air war book. No rules for ground attack in the box set book. Cheesy as hell. eg: buy the extra hard back book to bomb stuff.

Do the paint agitators really make that much difference? I just started painting my first miniatures today, so I'm very new to this.
@TooManyMetalMen2 жыл бұрын
It can help mix the pigment if it separates, and it really depends. Some people use vortex mixers to 'remix' the paint. Essentially the medium and pigment can separate and settle and this helps get them back into an emulsion. But very hard shaking can do it too.

Can you share a link to where I can buy those balls? All the shops in my area sells stainless ones with little to no pulling strength.
@EmperorsTeeth Жыл бұрын
I've just run into the same problem. Ordered some 4.5mm (they fit, btw) stainless steel bb's and they're next to useless. Thankfully didn't glue them in first! If you look at 4:00 in the video, the pairs of bb's are stuck together, which suggests to me they're actually magnetic balls themselves.
@jonijuuso7296 Жыл бұрын
@@EmperorsTeeth No it just needs to not be stainless steel, stainless causes the magnets to not attract to the steel. Or it needs to be a type of stainless that is attracted

@TooManyMetalMen2 жыл бұрын
Yes. For less sanding use thinner magnets, but they'll have less pull.

I've just purchased wrath of angels with the intention to put together a much larger eldar force, but I'm wondering if its sensible to magnetise the weapons? The eldar aircraft look particularly fiddly and fragile and I'm not really an expert at magnetising, but I'd still like to be able to swap out weapons. What are your thoughts on magnetising the eldar craft?

I've ordered this sprue from GW yesterday but I'm going to use it for Aeronautica Imperialis: The bunkers will be targets, the downed Knight and AT-logo will be chopped up as needed and used as landingsites and the little cogs will be painted red and blue to represent the amount of Hellstrike ans Skystrike misseles per plane respectivly. Both the targets and landingzones will be mounted on obsolete objective hexes from Underworlds :-)
