I'd love one in the desert sand color. The Xterra is the most unique and reliable SUV's I've ever owned. I love the styling of the refreshed first gen, but it seriously lacked power. I love the version you're showing here with the updated drive train. It's a home run! Also, optional third row jumper seats would be cool!

It looks shorter in length and lost its distinctive appearance. It has the design of a Sentra.

I don't think Honda would make a Pilot Type R since the market for the vehicle is limited meaning is not sold in all markets like the Civic Type R. In addition, I highly doubt that they would use a 4 cylinder engine on an almost 5k pound vehicle specially when they already have a twin turbo 3.5 V6 from the MDX Type S which already shares the a lot of the underpinnings with the Pilot. I would say they would detune it a bit and put it in the Pilot. However these pics are amazing! Great Photoshop
