I have this enclosure on my wish list. I think the copper fan covering contacts the "heat pipes" and acts as a heat sink to improve cooling. This enclosure is about $90 on Amazon now.

The OEM cover is necessary to create a negative pressure to help cool the SSD that’s installed. using this vented cover only ruin your ps5.

Just upgrade the phone if you got the cash! I do it every time the new models come out. Samsung trade-in program makes this possible. Each new model is better than the last, in my opinion.

I had the same problem, just bought it A few days ago at Home Depot paid $620. With tax, I starting to used it today and smoke come out don’t know what it is then all certain the engine shut off maybe I had it set one inches, then I restarted it but the cable is too tight to pulled, I waited for 5 minutes then reset the clip to 2 inches then it started again it cuts grass pretty good but when I cut 6 inches grass it stopped the engine and I have it set to mulch, do you have any idea what’s issues are, Is it better to use the bag or the mulch, thank you in the advance.

Mine after 9 months start to not open 100% , I took to repair ,they asked for 500 usd to change the hinge and internal screen . Nice phones but not for long time....unrecommended .

Can you make the handles fit the plates for the other one? What about expansion plates? EXP with Elite Exp expansion plates and vice versa.

No, they're different just enough to make sure they don't fit each other's plates. I'm sure it's not an accident 🤣

Actually I was accidentally sent the 90 lb expansion for the exp instead of the one for the elite. Sending it back would have been a pain so I tried it and it works perfectly! Looks a little weird but who cares?

4:55 makes no difference because the heat ends up in the case anyway, it is sucked in by the fan and the negative pressure in the case.

It's a fair point, I guess the only question is if the heat is trapped inside the compartment with the original cover that doesn't touch the ssd, or is having that phisically contact with the plate make it better? Hard to tell, it works fine with either option it seems, but it's possible that in one scenario the drive might be thermal throttling, thus reducing the performance. Still, is it something a player will even notice?

@@spacemsh The heat cannot be trapped with the original cover because the negative pressure sucks the heat away. So the heat always ends up in the console, but the SSD does not give off much heat and the cooler only increases the surface area, so the heat can be distributed to the cooler and from there to the air.

Yeah you gotta put the tape on the SSD so the heat pipe can "pull" the heat out of the card. Not a biggie just makes it better.

One I don't understand is if you buy old, retro pc games used, do the codes work for install? If not, what will you do to install them?

Thays a good question. Codes probably won't work, so it's no help with used games, but to be fair, older PC games are usually dirt cheap anyway. What a physical media gives you is the game data without internet connection, ideally, but let's face it, nothing really works without internet anymore.

Yes, it has a USB port on the back. Micro USB that is, but it's there.

Yes, you can. I often do in some spots, and it doesn't feel like there is any resistance when pushing or pulling it.
