02:45....the lie. He wasn't born blind,....he was made blind by a f-up at the hospital. And he not completely blind.....just blind enough to meet the criteria to be considered blind.

The way they speed up throughout the song makes it more intense than the studio version.

Great job on remastering the audio. It all sounds superb! Thank you! And I've only heard of the Gizmotron. Amazing to see it being used on that strat! How cool that Godley/Creme invented it and Jimmy Page used it.

These guys were just so good!!! And their songs are relevant right here and now...and hold up like a classic always does. I'm a musician who got my start back when the 1st British invasion arrived here and grew up on the Beatles, Kinks, Hollies, etc and consider these guys every bit their equal- musically they are like a hybrid of Beatles- Kinks - encompassing the musicality of the Beatles and the snide-ness of the Kinks and come up withe something so uniquely them. In my opinion they are one of the great bands . Is it true that they are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? If so that's a travesty.

Great recording. I just saw them in NJ with Graham leading the pack. I know that he's the only original except the drummer, but they were fantastic. The harmonies were unbelievable. Thanks, Graham!

Was there ever a group that has such a diverse array of songs, every hit so different from the last. A top group who could all play, sing and write. Compered to today's crap on a different planet.

Sometimes life happens to have a funny way of introducing us to new things. I’d never heard of 10cc until a few weeks ago although I did recognise a few of their most famous songs when the penny dropped that they were the artists behind them. It was in Manchester airport where I first heard Rubber Bullets and it just gripped me straight away. I’m only 19 and have always been musically inclined, from just that one listen over the speakers in an airport restaurant, I could tell there was something that set this band apart from all the others. I’m so glad I researched them to actually find their music and thank the lord we have the technology we do today otherwise I’d never have found them.

Remarkable here that the great Will Lee plays the bass part on the record so beautifully, while Colin plays up the neck. Andy was of course chief songwriter, but Colin's voice and bass playing are for me such a huge part of XTC.

I recorded this on my VCR nearly 35 years ago now, and played it over and over before KZbin came along. I love how the bridge of this song at 2:34 reminds me of the bridge in The Beatles' "We Can Work It Out."

The Dr prescribes 10cc of this to all the Old wild men that still remember dancing half a century ago when the music played and being silly was cool , they would lock you up these days for just being a normal kid having a bit of fun , approaching senility this makes more sense than it ever did.

Amazing band, tight as a facelift, great songs, harmonies and vocals, lyrically topical to this day. Brilliant performance. The audience could have done with a kick up the arse as they look so deadpan (this isn't Pink Floyd, lol), must have been hard for the band at the time with this zero audience participation. It wasn't how I was when I saw them in concert back in '93.
