How do you know if dog treats are done? I made a batch yesterday with sweet potato, oat flour and some applesauce and I baked it at 350 while flipping them every 10 min for 20 minutes and it came out good but it was soft on the inside?? Any tips on what I did wrong?

It's up to you, we do not use it but most State Departments of Ag approve it. (It is such a tiny amount too)

Hello! I’m thinking of starting my own dog treat business. I’m trying to find a good dog cookie recipe that is shelf stable to sell at farmers markets, and that doesn’t need to be tossed after a week. Would you recommend using a citric acid to any recipe and how much?

I recommend our "frosting" on soft, cake like dog treats but you can try it as a drizzle, for sure!

No, it will not be cracked, it dries hard so you can cut out shapes to use it at a later date, if you let it air dry.

Could this be done in a stand mixer? How long can you store it?

It's designed to make it as you need it... I would not recommend making it in a stand mixer unless you are using it the same day.
