Jacquez, you did a fabulous job highlighting literary devices that King masters in his speech. I learned more about his speech and the relevance of the times, in addition to his incredible ability to speak to and connect with incredible numbers of Americans of all races. King was a great unifier. We need to continue striving to reach his dream - each and every day. Thank you sir for making this video.

The "I have a dream speech" received that title, although it actually focusses on "freedom". So it actually is Dr. King's "Freedom-Speech". That can also be approved by taking a look at the "end" of the speech. It ends with the actual "topic" of the entire speech: "Free at last - free at last - thank God-Allmighty !!!! We are free at last ! "

@JacquesGaines The title "I have a dream" is mostly used by those, who want to keep equality essentially a "dream". The word "dream" was chosen by Dr. King in the sense of a "prophetic vision" to certainly come true, not in a sense of an illusion. Segregationists, who astonishingly even exist today, are happy about that doublesense in the word "dream", so that they can "toss" that word "around", according to their intention to keep up racial injustices. We live in a time today, where racists appear to be living anachronisms - and it is correct, that today the situation is so, that a racist will have to feel ashamed of his twisted and anachronistic attitude. Racism is finally a lack of knowledge of the biological fact, that mankind has its roots in Africa and all human races derive from the african race, adapting their degree of pigmentation of the skin and iris to the climate-zones the human beings moved to over the thousands of years. Looking down to the original race on this planet therefore appears to be sheer and naked ignorance, which only fools would be proud of incorporating. Racism is ignorance.

One of the aspects of a Leica and a Hasselblad that most people do not talk about, is that both of these camera’s are tremendous values and ultimately very cheap, if you take good care of them. Most Leica film equipment are always in great demand! This translates to stable resale value. For instance, If you buy an M3 (beater) in working condition for $500.00 dollars, a 50mm collapsible Summicron (decent condition)for another $500.00-700.00 dollars, use it for a few years and then decide to sell, there is an excellent chance that you will be able to get your money back, if not even a small profit. There are no electronics in this camera and there are enough parts to keep you going for a lifetime. A Leica becomes a savings account in a sense. Any electronically dependent camera can become a unrepairable door stop in a moments notice. I know all too well from lots of bad experience. Not everything is about the hammer price, and value is measured in longevity.

To me your reasoning is fully convincing, however some remarks: Talking about Leica cameras one might add the Leica R series. You can use superb lenses and they are a bit cheaper than the the M cameras. If you want to have a small camera to carry with you all the time an old Rollei 35 might be useful.

@JacquesGaines in fact the stars would be even brighter since the moon has no atmosphere to obstruct the light from outer space...
@JacquesGaines
@JacquesGaines Ай бұрын
Did you do your homework? I guess not. What is this world you live in where you just declare new rules based on what you think is the truth. Take a bit of time to research light theory in photography. Short of being near a black hole, these laws work everywhere. As much as I open my mind up to some of the denier theories, just read a couple of books, totally independent of the moon landing photography, and see how luminosity works, what lumens vs light temperature, vs candles, means. You just cannot say that there is no atmosphere so nothing is obstructing light coming in. Anyway. I think it might be best to not put energy into this.

@@randywilson3530 Right on! In his 2001 book Carrying The Fire. "Outside my window I can see stars - and that is all(remembered!). Where I know the moon to be, there is simply a black void; the moon’s presence is defined solely by the absence of stars. To compare the sensation with something terrestrial, perhaps being alone in a skiff in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a pitch-black night would most nearly approximate my situation." Neil deGrasse Tyson actual American astrophysicist, author science communicator, studied at Harvard University, Hayden Planetarium as a staff scientist director of the planetarium American Museum of Natural History, where Tyson founded the Department of Astrophysics NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal 👨‍🎓 said he: "..IF YOU ARE IN THE DAYTIME ON THE MOON YOU SEE A FULL NIGHTSKY OF STARS..." in any context, all around.... :)

Had to stop viewing after less than a minute. As a French speaker, and quite comfortable in English, I can assure this "translation" is unbearable ! This has nothing to do with a proper adaptation from one language to another, rather it is a brutal "conversion of words". Nuances are forgotten, cultural differences are ignored, lexical subtleties have totally disappeared... this is to throw up. If this is the way you are dealing with AI, that's the wrong path. Show respect to your viewers and invest time in, at least, a true verifying stage in the creating process of your videos. As it stands, this is the best way to have me (and French speakers) running the opposite way !

I live in Campbell county Kentucky . Up until the year 2000 the only place you saw a lot of negroes was in the city called Newport Kentucky. Today I went to an international Church that is essentially run by Africans from Africa. There are negroes in Alexandria Kentucky. There are negroes in highland heights Kentucky. That is where Northern Kentucky University is located. I think this is why we have negroes in other places other than Newport Kentucky.

Good day Jacques, wanna share my two cents about this topic because I was fortunate enough to meet the exact opposite of your types you described. I have a friend who started to get interest in photography, he went to an event at an ancient castle in Bracciano near Rome and saw an old gentleman making videos with his Lumix. He went to him and greet him, asking what was he doing and if he was part of the event staff. He said no, that he was a freelancer and that he was acquiring B rolls for future use, explaining to him that he makes documentaries for a living and after some back and forth he proposed to join him on an evening where he could share some tips about the profession. My friend was skeptical: "nothing is free in this world" were the exact words he said to me, but he went to his house and actually had the greatest time ever, turns out that this man is one of the kindest person alive and he hates with a passion that "young ones does not have a dream anymore" and he wanted to start with us by trying to ignite something... And he did. He actually succeded. I use street photography as a mean to expression and self healing. If I see a fellow camera guy I want to greet them too. To know what drives them. Dunno if internationally available, but this man, Marco Leopardi have done quite some good stuff. He's in his 60's and i hope he could be cybernetically enhanced to live at least 1000 years more.

I don't understand why people still wonder about this. You don't have to go to the Moon, this normally happens on Earth too. I dare anyone to go outside on a clear, starry night, and take the picture of a friend. If the friend is in focus, there will be no stars in the sky in the picture. If you change the settings to see the stars, the person in the foreground will be overexposed. It's perfectly normal on Earth, why is it so controversial when the picture is taken in spce or on the Moon?

I appreciate the discussion of this software, though I have both a question and a comment. The question is whether you think, based on the keywords it assigns like light play or whatever it was there, the AI would be able to recognize different features of a lot of abstract imagery that doesn't contain any content. secondly I just want to say I look so forward to being an old lady and seeing women doing what you're doing here, but of model men posing nearly nude while all the male viewers just wanting info about a tech product have to sit through all the nearly nude young males posing for their female photographer and tech reviewer. ...or would that be disrespectful of men's aesthetics, and a turn-off to them of the channel?
@JacquesGaines
@JacquesGaines 3 ай бұрын
As for your question, I was only told that the AI is updated as it learns, and you are most likely right. However, it probably might not do as good a job on abstract images simply by the nature of the AI model. Large Language models are somewhat traffic-oriented. Therefore, it would tend to make the software have better judgement on the more common photo styles. As for your comment, I think I understand the nature and motivation behind it, but it is somewhat cryptic. It has a "ONE DAY THE TABLES WILL BE TURNED FEEL." In fact, I think it might be an accusation of some sort. But to be totally sure, could you please rephrase it clearly? Just to make sure that I can address your concerns fairly, I would like to defend myself, but I want to make sure I do it in response to a clear set of points.
